Four of us had lunch here with six beers as four entrees (in the €8.2 to €9.8 range). Total was €58.20 Nice outside tables. Good and attentive service. Menus available in English.

if you want a simple but good meal while visiting this city try this pub; placed in the centre of the city, the elferhause is good for lunch and dinner; we've eaten for dinner the first day of our trip and we've chosen hamburger and ribs which were served with fresh salad and baked potatoes; and the good thing was... This is one of the many restaurants located in the Altstadt. The terrace is large with umbrellas in case of rain. We were received and sat by a very friendly waiter. The menu is large, but we chose the Rosti. They offer 3 types. We chose the rosti Dimitri (Lamb, feta, tomato) and Rosti Joggl (Chicken, bacon and tomato). Both... More

The food wasn't great - greasiest spaetzle I've ever had - but the service was quite good and the location was ideal. They also had more choices for beers (dark, light, white, etc.), which is great when you've had enough Zipfer for awhile. ;) But the food was just average to sub-par - skating by on it's location, I think.... I was just looking for a little place to grab something warm to eat when I came upon Elferhaus in the historic walking district. Great vibe! A place that I'd love to meet up with some friends and have a drink. They had a lunch menu and I ordered the biergoulash, which with a drink, ended up being a little... More

Contrary to previous reports, this bar seemed to be non-smoking. Perfect for us as many bars in Innsbruck are surprisingly smoky. Good choice of beers, local and world. All really cheerful and helpful staff. Nice mixed clientele and atmosphere.

To all the non-smokers: After entering the bar just proceed to the separated part in the back behind the glass door, which is smoke-free. I decided to invite a few people to a small and casual birthday party at the Elferhaus. Normally I would concur with the mixed feelings of many of the other reviewers, and I chose the Elferhaus... Many establishments in Austria have indoor smoking, this is one of them. We sat at the front and never told there was a non-smoking area. We ordered two beers and it seems they were brewing them just for us (because it took forever). The beer I ordered was Munich-helles type and taste was ok. I could not smell anything because... More

I only go to Elferhaus once in a while and typically, the experience goes like this: I struggle to squeeze past the bar, navigating through a dense cloud of smoke & colliding with everyone's shoulder. I finally reach the back room (smoke-free), only to find out that there are no free tables. After standing somewhere in the way with my... More

A nice place which most of the time is pretty crowded. They offer a big range of different beers (only drawback: they sell 0.33 Hoegaarden only) and some nice food too (from € 3,--). The atmosphere is nice, sometimes a bit busy. It is divided into a smoking and a non-smoking area. For people who love a good pint it... More
