From the outside the place did not look all that interesting but what a pleasant surprise to be seated in the Ritter Keller with its medieval decor - we had an early dinner (around 5p.m.) and the indoor restaurant rooms were almost empty BUT the waiter was very pleasant, the food not gourmet but definitely a nice meal after a... This place has a lot of character but the food isn't anything special. We were in the "ritterhall " (knights hall) which looked like it was straight out of the middle ages. The food is not pricey at all but you get what you pay for , it was mediocre (I got the kaspressknödel soup and St Johannes sausages). I... More

This is my second visit here. I have not been in the indoor rooms, but the outdoor terrace/ beer garden is terrific. This place is often busy and frequented by tourists and locals. The menu is in several languages: German, Italian, French and English. The staff are fast, friendly and get your bill to you in record time. The food... More

We were quite pleased with our dinner. Everything we ordered tasted good and was nicely prepared. Service was very fast and courteous. I appreciated Augustiner beer on tap. With its very high ceiling room decorated to evoke thoughts of a medieval dining hall the (barely) off-white main wall color essentially ruins the effect instead lending a rather sterile appearance. A... More

The restaurant is located right at the east entrance to the old town. There are both indoor and outdoor seat available to suit your preference. The food is so taste and fast service, I would recommend you to try the green salad and grilled sausage served with sauerkraut with the mustard sauce. For dessert, you should try the Applestuel with... More

Did not expect it to be so good as we went in, several different rooms. We chose to eat in the non smoking one. The food and service were excellent, I started with a litre of beer, had a variety of dumplings as a starter, then tried a local dish with dumplings, both very tasty. Also had a very good... More

If you are in innsbruck and look for restaurants to taste traditional tirolian and austrian dishes then this restaurant is the best choice. Nice and quick service.

We thought the reviews of this restaurant sounded just up our street, good honest grub in a decent atmosphere? Wrong on both counts. The large downstairs room we were led to had no atmosphere whatsoever and the good was like bad canteen food. The starter platter of meats and cheeses wasn't too bad but the thick slice of smoked speck... More

We really enjoyed our lunch here. Food really good and tipical and beer great too. The place has the happy and relaxed vibe you get in all Austrian Gasthouses, it's very nicely decorated and spotless. Staff are very friendly. Location excellent.
