We visited this busy restaurant on our first evening in innsbruke The food was rustic but tasty. We shared a plate of mixed dumplings to start and although it didn't look anything specialthey were so good we just devoured them. Our main courses were excellent full of flavour and the house red was the best we tried during our stay... More

It s one of the most famous restaurants in Innsbruck for its Tyrolean specialties.. It is located exactly at the center of the town, inside a traditional building that has several different rooms, floors and space for everybody... The menu is just what you expect to find... We tried a wiener schnitzel, a tyrolean schweinbraten and a variety of sausages... More

Visited later on a Saturday evening after hanging out at the glühwein garden. Was very very busy! Luckily, with only two of us, we were able to squeeze into a both in the bierkellar. Same menu as the restaurant, only difference is smoking is allowed. We shared the assorted dumpling plate and it was amazing! My meal consisted of knödelmitkäse.... More

The dumplings were amazing. We got the sampler and all 3 flavors were great. We also had the pot roast and wiener schnitzel, both were very good. The self service seating can be a little challenging, but very fun atmosphere.

Large bierkeller-style place on the edge of the Aldstadt (oldtown) with big, tented outside area. We were attracted because it was one of the few places to have full English translation. Good variety including local specialities: we had Farm Duck (good portion and tasty) and a ragout with spinach noodles (very sweet). Wine by the glass. Not expensive, good service... More

Had good food and beer. Nice location under a tent outside. Portions large; I couldn't finish mine. Prices were good.
