Lives the beer garden on a nice day. It is definitely to small and smokey inside. I went twice once for lunch and once just for a beer (and pretzel). For lunch I had veal weinerschnizel. It was a little tough and came out so fast I was wondering it was pre cooked and waiting as I'm sure they turn... More

I wasn't expecting much, and I didn't get blown away. But good quick service by nice waiter. A great beer collection. A really nice vibe in the beer garden and they even had a three piece traditional band playing. So if in doubt of say check it out.

We grabbed dinner here one night, and a late afternoon beer on the patio another day. On both occasions the staff were friendly and polite, and the food was delicious. Great strudel, great beers, and all of the dishes we ordered came out fairly quick and were tasty. As with many German and Austrian restaurants, you just pick a seat... More

We were there for a family vacation with a 9 yrs old son We eat outside in a warm sun. Food is good, typical of the region at least as an Italian understand it :) Service was fast and kind and price was reasonable.

A converted monastery in the heart of the old town. The food came quickly - even on a busy lunchtime. The menu is available in multiple languages, and the food is good, traditional tyro lean dishes

Ate here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both events. The beer was great, the service excellent and the food was totally up to expectations. You need to eat here and spend some time enjoying your fellow diners/drinkers.

The food was pretty good and I liked the chance to sample more traditional Austrian dishes. The service was good and despite our visit at a busy lunch hour we were able to be seated immediately. The atmosphere was charming and added to the dining experience. The location in the altstadt was very convenient. We just happened across this restaurant... More

A great place to go to a bit more of an authentic Austrian experience. It is huge inside with traditional decor. To be honest we almost left without ordering because we waited 20 minutes or so without any waiters coming near us so we were on the verge of going when we were moved to another waitress' station then we... First, the good parts: the atmosphere is quite nice and everyone is friendly; the location is good, in the inner city; the place is large so finding a table is seldom a problem. What I did not like is the whole kitchen output. Once you manage to get the attention of a waiter (a challenging tasks by itself) you can... More

Excellent local food, great atmosphere, fair prices. Nice restaurant and seems to be an "in" place for the locals too. Would recommend.
