Very good food and service!

Excellent traditional cuisine and attentive service. It is nice that they have a separate section for non-smokers.

The Ottoburg is in a historic building in the centre of Innsbruck and serves food in various rooms. We had a table on the first floor with lovely view of the city centre. The food was excellent and I had a typical Austrian food called

Really good traditional poultry and meat dishes. Enjoyed the pork and beef dishes which my host said are traditional tyrolean dishes.

Yes the waitress was grumpy. It's Austria...that happens. But best meal I had inInnsbruck was taking a seat outside at the table on the street. Ordered some house red. Had steak carpaccio for starter. Amazing. As this was so good had the Argentinian steak and baked potatoes. Ok not very Austrian but great and served promptly. Will be going again... More

Went here for lunch whilst shopping in Innsbruck, the old woman serving had the charm of a rottweiler and when we asked for Currywurst which was on the board outside she had to ask the kitchen if this was Ok. This lead to 10 minutes of laughter between her and the two other german guests in the restaurant (in german,... More

The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived and at first we thought we might be too late for a meal at 8:30pm however after a minute or so we were invited to take a table downstairs. It was a very quiet atmosphere, in contrast to most restaurants in Germany/Austria. We had to take a bit of a punt on... More

I previously read TA reviews that this place was quiet. I would agree 100%! I found myself hearing myself chew! The typical Austrian fare of Schnitzel and cranberries for 20 Euro was tasty enough. Satisfied what I was looking for. Id try other options in the city to compare if I visited Innsbruck again. It was solid, ok, but not... More

This restaurant is billed as a medieval castle facing the bridge at the end of the small tourist strip and It certainly retains the look of a renaissance palace. We wanted to check it out based on the recommendation of a friend who had been here many years before. We ate on the second level in a dark wood-paneled room... More

Everything we had was wonderful ... especially the potato salad - the best ever! The only downside was it was a bit too quiet for our liking - the atmosphere felt too stiff for us. We sat upstair in a great window view booth.
