Sadly the service was very bad and the food disappointing. Prices are high and unmotivated. Not even the Wienerschnitsel was tasty. The only enjoyable thing was a funny devise to squeeze the lemon slices..

it was our first experience in this restaurant. The setting is attractive but the service was very bad, the food ( pasta) was cold and much too salty.

The hotel concierge recommended this restaurant when we asked for a typical Austrian restaurant and I personally thank them for that. The food was just great and the service is excellent. A little bit expensive!!

Food and decoration are super! If you want to have a fancy dinner with candles sitting around old century furniture then and feel the atmosphere of the house build in XII century - go upstairs! If you want to drink a glass of beer or wine with friends - better stay on the first floor.

We were slightly apprehensive about going to this restaurant given the mixed reviews. Our experience, though, was very positive. A historic and interesting building, the restaurant is located in different rooms throughout the building, all furnished in traditional Austrian manner. The menu was also traditional, with a focus on soups and meat dishes. We found the food to be of... More

Good quality and fresh food, reasonable prices and wonderful old furniture inside. But you'll be better off not ordering the tourist dishes and cheap menus displayed on the blackboard outside. The service inside is very good and attentive, outside chances are that you'll have to wait, sometimes very long. Sadly, the senior service manager doesn't seem to be a team... More

Had dinner here with a group of 11 of us and food and service was very good. Went back a week later , just the Wife and I and found the service to be slow/ inattentive and the food was not as good. Will probably try this place the next time I am in Innsbruck to see which is the... More

We have been here twice now, primarily because we were so confused about our first experience that we thought we would give the place a second shot. Sadly though, nothing changed. The food is surprisingly very good but the management is absolutely horrendous. Don't confuse this with service; which was not so great either but if I had a manager... More

Have visited previously and very much looked forward to a return. The interior remains very nice, primarily the second floor ( 1st floor european). The service was poor to say the least. Do not bother making a reservation, your better just showing up. I would do this for lunch and save the other more congenial and service oriented options for... More

Four of us dined here on a December weekday evening. We had no reservations but we went early and they fit us in. We were seated in a small upstairs balcony room with exquisite woodwork, and it was clear we were in an ancient building. Service was not speedy, but we were not in a hurry. The food was delicious,... More
