Good Food, Privilege Location.

Located in the middle of the Innsbruck Altstadt, this cafe/resto has a lot to offer. The service is very good and friendly, with a lot of attention to detail for a small restaurant in a prime touristic location. Busy place but has its flair, love the wall that gets done every few weeks, nice staff can get slow when it's busy, but it's ok I take my time as long as my coffee is hot and my cake is good, it's always fun being here.. Mind you it is a busy place, but that makes it interesting..

We had spent the day up the mountain exploring the snowy tops, it was a lovely sunny day so very warm, but once the sun goes down you can feel the chill. We were looking for a nice little cafe to have a warm drink and stumbled across Cafe Katsung. It was lovely, delicious and well presented cappuccino led to... More

My partner and I travelled from Australia and spent some time in Innsbruck recently. Cafe Katzung was a definite highlight! The staff were courteous and relaxed and the decor was a combination of European charm and modern elegance. The Katzung torte is an absolute must! My partner had the apple strudel and he loved it as well. A delightful experience... More

Due to the size, it lacks a personal touch, but it's warm, smoke free, free wifi and the coffee and cakes are perfect. I didn't find a plug to charge my phone.

I have been to this cafe five years ago and revisited it this year. I had a very good memory of the first visit, as it was one of the first trips I came to Europe. This time, it feels exactly the same as before. The location is perfect for a break during the day tour. The atmosphere is cosy... More

This place was a real find. The food was lovely; the coffee was perfect; and the staff could not have been friendlier.

Absolutely lovely ice creams for the children, a cointreaubecher and an Eiskaffee for me. Really nice service, allowing the children to go and look at the ice creams available and the only downside that happened was the a "beggar" came through us looking for money. Nice people sitting nearby ensured that I did not lose something, and the location just... More
