Our family went here in hopes of spending an evening in an authentic beer house. We got just that. The environment and service was great. The food, not so much; quite bland. All in all, it's ok, but not great.

I ordered the beef goulash. The food looked delicious but it was salty. The basket of breads is an extra and you need to pay for it. I had the bread and it was not fresh. The service was average only even though there was not a lot of customers at that time.

The service was excellent. Staff served us promptly. It was recommended by a hotel staff when I said I want good, local Austrian food. Had beef goulash and drank almdudler (an Austrian fizzy lemonade drink). Overall, very satisfied with the service and quality of food (although Austrian food is too salty for my taste).

This establishment offers excellent traditional dishes as well as some more unusual. For example, I opted for the marinated halibut with dill sauce as a starter. It was nicely presented and very tasty. The salad garnish was copious and very fresh. For my main I decided on a dish I have had many times during 24 years in Austria, 'zwiebelrostbraten'... More

Not exceptional, but everything met our expectations. Nice place with good food, good beer and good service! We recommend the grill plate.

This is a casual and lively restaurant offering quality service and food. We had the Garlic Cream Soup (to die for), Braised Beef with Onions (very tasty) and the Nockerl for dessert. Couldn't have asked for better for our first night in Salzburg. Try the Nockerl...I didn't think I would like it, but it was surprisingly very good.

Charming pub off a quiet the quiet pedestrian zone of Mozartplatz. Lots of hearty traditional dishes and gluten free (and lactose free) items are marked directly on the menu. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Cozy indoor seating and nice outdoor seating as well. I did see a waitress blow her nose and then start handling the dishes without washing... More
