At the entrance of the terrace with a couple of people behind me, we were all waiting to be seated as we didn’t know that we just walk in and take any table. All the servers walked passed us several times and none of them acknowledged us or explained to us. As we were standing at the entrance we talked... More

The restaurant has a very good service, believe me, it was 100% well done. The food is good, very traditional but only few options in the menu. The dessert menu had varieties and if you want some from their Cafe, we can have it in their restaurant. The price was quite expensive for the kind of food served that hadn't... More

Felt like I was in a scene of out Disny's "Beauty and the Beast!" Quaint decor, amazing service by Werner, yummy food, special attention to our food allergies and gluten free requests.

Thumbs up for this ground-floor restaurant, facing a fine open air terrace by the river. The view, also from the windows of the restaurant is toward the castle. The maitre gave us a wonderful service, with tips on food and wine that truly were attentive to our preferences. He was the absolute best part of the experience. The traditional plates... More

Enjoyed a nice dinner with good home cooking and very friendly service: Wiener schnitzel, Weizen beer and the original Sacher-Torte - so good! Informal setting and nice view on the river and old city. Recommended.

Belonging to the famous Sacher hotel next door, Salzachgrill changed concept. The cult-status toast is passé. Now you can eat Sacher burgers and Salzburgers as well as traditional Austrian cuisine. Food is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. If possible you should sit on the terrace with a view of the Salzach river.

We enjoyed great burgers and fries at Salzach Grill on a cold a rainy day! The Grill is the casual dining version of the food service in the Hotel Sacher. Just the perfect meal, early dinner / late lunch before heading out to a Mozart concert. The service was quick and very friendly and helpful. The waitress spoke English and... More

We stopped for dinner here with our kids (ages 8 and 10) on our way to an evening concert in the Old Town and were pleasantly surprised. The kids split a cheeseburger and I had lamb chops. My husband also had a burger. The food was pricey, but good so it was worth it. Quick service and very friendly staff.
