You may have to wait to be seated. Great local hangout to be seen kind of place. Excellent coffee, pastries and soups on a cold day.

We enjoyed a brief cake based respite from the cold wet weather. Chocolate mousse cake to be precise. Nice coffee too. Unfortunate that you have to walk through a smoking area but good that this is separate from the main cafe. Rather crowded. Overall this was pleasant but not spectacular. The chandeliers were quite sparkly.

Yummy strudel! Not so yummy Saher torte. The location and view is unbeatable. Go early in the morning if you want to have breakfast as it gets filled up very quickly and you will better enjoy the experience if you sit close to the large river facing windows,

nice place to sit for drinking coffee and to relax and to watch people but for the apple strudel I prefer to go cafe Sacher ..much better ...but in cafe bazar is the ambiance better ...no stiff hassle...

My partner and I had just got into the centre of the city from a poignant visit to my late wife's grave, and we decided to go into the Cafe Bazar. This is a very traditional but very upmarket coffee house in Salzburg with a clientele from the banking and artistic communities. The decor is beautiful, the situation is exceptional... More

A Salzburg institution, go here and order a coffee or aperitif, or perhaps a glass of wine. Enjoy one of their cakes too while you're at it and people watch. I have been here numerous times and the service is always great and they never rush you.

What else better than on another rainy day in Salzburg. Lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed a lovely coffee and very nice cake. Impeccable service. Would definitely go back.

This place is a must …it is frequented by locals and brunch on a Saturday is really good. Special section for smokers, lots of papers available, excellent service, true Austrian coffee culture. Loved it!

I was thoroughly disappointed. Cafe Bazar looks warm and inviting by the side of the river. I was delighted to see a blanket available on the terrace for those of us keen to enjoy the November blue skies. The waiter was not friendly - in fact I could almost say disdainful. I asked for a sandwich menu but he merely... More
