Great start of the day!

Went there for breakfast and OH MY GOD it was delicious!! The cake selection is amazing, staff is kind and the service is very quick. The coffee was very good, almost as good as in Italy, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Will definatelly come back again!

We found a table for four amongst a very busy seating area outside and were served promptly. I ordered an extended breakfast of ham, cheese, bread, croissant with jam and a coffee. I was served with the croissant first, my coffee came 10 minutes later, followed by a plate of bread, ham and cheese a further 5 minutes later. Not... More

Located close to our hotel, we checked on recommended breakfast houses, and this was near the top. We visited early in the morning (on a public holiday) and found the place packed!! Thought it would cause issues with service, but elected to stay. So glad we did. Regardless of numbers, the service was impeccable and swift. The breakfast was extremely... More

Got a quick lunch there which was excellent. Also had dessert, which was really great. Price wise the cafe leans towards the expensive, but it's still okay. I'll go there again next time I'm in Salzburg.

Cafe was busy, but not full when I arrived. I sat at a table and waited over 15 minutes and not a single server came to my table. I watched the tables next to me and people who arrived after me be served. Even as I stood up and put my coat on to leave, not a single server paid... More

For the best breakfast, this is truly the place to go. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed especially the Fingerlos Breakfast, which was quite a handful in terms of portion. That breakfast managed to sustain us up to 3pm that day.

We tried this cafe for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food which was reasonably priced. The smoked salmon and eggs were delicious and cappuccinos were by far the best we had in the 4 day stay in Salzburg.

Our hotel had a semi-continental breakfast so we walked 5 minutes to Fingerlos. The best breakfast in the area, by far (we were here for 5 days). The smoked salmon, fresh juice, scrambled eggs and croissants.

Fingerlos is one of the best options for breakfast in the city, it has a very extensive breakfast menu - from the traditional croissant or scrambled eggs, to the more unique such as marinated tofu and fruit - there is something for everyone. It serves breakfast all day and more reasonable than the standard hotel cost of ca€15 per breakfast,... More

My boyfriend and I traveled around Europe for a while and made it a tradition to get a traditional breakfast in each city. I have to say, the smoked salmon breakfast - though likely not traditional - was absolutely delicious. 14 euro seems a bit much to pay, but the amount of food is very worth it. Excellent quality and... More
