The view is amasing, the Hotel is beutifull, and the cakes are ok. But everything is ruined by the waitress that was 20 minutes to bring us our order, didnt clean the Table, and then forgott half of our order.

Located on the Hotel Sacher facing the street, it was busy and staff did not really welcome us or gave a pleasant service. However, food was good and Sacher torte is an experience that no one should miss when they are in Austria.

Great lunch here during our stay at Hotel Sacher. The space is beautiful with naturla lighting and classic, tasteful decor. It can be busy and you will understand why once you've dined here. Home of the legendary Sacher Torte that are showcased along with other variations in a glass case are made fresh daily. Their coffee variations are wonderful as... More

My partner and I happened across the sacher cafe, and having read some good reviews about this place on trip advisor, I thought we would give it a try. While the original Sacher torte cake will not break your budget at around 5 euros a slice, the waitress informed us that we were also required to order a drink if... More

Located on the Hotel Sacher property, the Punschtorte was our favorite though the Sachertorte is nice, too.

Cafe sacher is placed very central in Salzburg. The probably most ordered cake is the famous "Sachertorte". It costs 4,90€ and tastes as every else Sachertorte. The cafe itself is very comfy and the service is very good, too. But the prices are enormous and not even worth it in my opinion.

We called into the Sacher Cafe a few times on our holiday and in our opinion it lived up to its reputation. What surprised us most of all was we expected it to be more expensive. The cost of coffee and cake was only slightly more than Starbucks down the road. The torte is worth a try but the apple... More

Food was nothing special and very expensive. They are relying on their name which is not what it used to be.

We visited Café Sacher earlier today, eager to try their famous torte and have a coffee. What a mistake. We easily found a table, the café was only half full. But even though we saw at least four waiters none of them seemed really busy and none of them paid us any attention. After waiting twenty minutes we decided to... More

Our first stop was at Cafe Sacher located at Sacher Hotel. Cafe Sacher is acclaimed to have created the original and best version of Sachertorte, no small feat considering Vienna is known as Europe’s cakes and pastry capital. The Sachertorte consists of a dense chocolate cake meringue with thin layers of apricot jam coated in dark chocolate icing around the... More
