My wife and I were looking forward to meeting our friend at Pasta and Vino in Salzburg. The place was almost empty when we got there. After we ordered our meals, I noticed my glass was wet, like it had been used. I asked the waiter for another glass. The conversation went something like this: I - could I have... More

The place can be missed if you are not looking closely; rather searching for it. It's close to the mirabell gardens, towards the Mozart Hotel. But once you enter the place, you will fall in love with the food. The chef prepares a new dish every day; so lunch and dinner becomes very interesting. The ingredients are fresh; the cooking... Following as always the reviews of tripadvisor and looking for something pure traditional,I visited this place in the non-touristic area of Salzburg (good sign already).Small as it should be place and a kind of delicatessen,I assume during the day.Don't miss the antipasti,by far the tastier I have ever tried and it's the reason that I will go back again. Not impressed... If u like noodles, that's the place to go! They offer 3 different types every day, there is no menu. Then there is a big choice of Anipasti, some of them are well kept culinary secrets (e.g. the Roastbeef). The atmosphere is authentic and the service is very good, all of them are Italian. At peak times u might have... More

found this place by accident. The smells of cheese and bread mingled with the meals being served. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and the pasta was homemade. A reservation is necessary since there are only a few tables and they are close together.

Paced on the reviews in TA my wife and I went to this small family owned and operated Italian restaurant. The received us with a big smile and asked her hasped to explain the menu for us. The food was great and the dessert was even better.

There is no menu just a choice of 2 for starter and main meals. It was all very fresh and cooked superb. Only a small restaurant. About a 10 minute walk from the Sheraton hotel. Would definitely return.

Great authentic homemade pasta. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The wine lovely and a family friendly cozy environment. Highly recommend.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel we tried to eat there on our first night but were told they were booked up on the evenings until christmas! Sounds unbelievable however the restaurant is tiny. We decided to go for lunch the next day and it did not disappoint. The good is amazing and fresh. There is a meat... More

It all depends on your disposition. The food is great, authentic and cheap. I can see why some are negative about it. It is hard to get in, the menu is limited, prices are not displayed and the wait staff are warm to regulars, cool to strangers. On the up side the food is beautifully fresh, tasty and filling. Why...
