We went on a somewhat cloudy summer evening. Still the outdoor seating was nice, would have been really nice if it was sunny. Service was very good, the food likewise. Very good food, in fact. It was pretty busy but we did not feel unattended. Recommended. Server spoke English and they accept credit cards.

As in the title, the pork schnitzel, according to my dad (who has tried many schnitzels in Germany and Prague), is the best he has tasted to date. Nice, thin, tender and crispy with a cranberry sauce to serve. I however having had too much meat over the course of our trip opted for a vegetarian option. The handmade ravioli... More

Didn't meet my expectations. We planned our trip to here as I had, that day proposed to my girlfriend. Read a lot about it on trip advisor, it all seemed great. My friend had emailed and booked ahead to ensure a table and a bottle of wine would be waiting for us. None of the above happened. After that everything... More

The food was really good! The traditional Austrian dishes were delicious and the dessert plate was fantastic. The only bad thing about this restaurant was the really slow service.

We went here with high expectations, given some of the excellent reviews on TA. The food was fine and the service friendly, but it didn't reach the high expectations that we'd set. In contrast - the day before we left the Alter Fuchs saying "wow that was so tasty" - on this day we left just saying 'that was OK".... More

This place really is fantastic. I was a little perturbed to find that the seating is shared but quickly got over this shock when I sat at a table with two other parties who were more than willing to converse with me in English. The wait staff were courteous, friendly, and charming. The food was excellent. The beef goulash I... More

Well worth a visit. Busy and quite noisy inside, waiters stretched but pleasant. When the food arrives you forgive these minor negatives - it's very good, mostly-traditional and seasonal Austrian food. On our first visit my wife had an excellent asparagus and mozzarella risotto while I had a good gulasch with dumpling. Our second visit saw us order chanterelles in... More

We enjoyed this immensely. The food came quickly with tremendous service. A good wine list and as we thought it might rain we went inside which had real atmosphere. The food was excellent. Salads to start which were delicious. A pork dish with grilled cheese and tasty fried bits with salad was lovely. What sounded like plain chicken was not... More
