Good beer and service

The service was very good, the food was plentyful and the prices were fair. The straff was friendly and helpful there were several seating areas with different atmosphere.

The beer is delicious! I love beer and spent 4 months in Spain where the beer isn't the best...and this beer reminded me of one in Peru (we have delicious beer there as well), so it kind of made it feel like home. Food is really good. They even have vegetarian options so I was soo happy. I recommend trying... More

very nice restaurant open till late. it's close to the railway station, I had a very nice dinner, and could stay longer waiting for my train departure. The staff is professional and careful, good and free Wi-Fi connection. Good choice of soups, mains and desserts from traditional cuisine.

I am not a great fan of Austrian beer (mostly bland and too much gas) however Villach Brauerei is certainly one of the better with good taste and fairly smooth. They have several beers on type and the main brewery is next doors. I have twice eaten there and the food has been dissappointing. However, I may have had bad... More

Very slow service and poor quality of food. There were few people actually so it's not popular with the locals, and the atmosphere is unpleasant in general. Bad choice and a shame for Villach!

Really bad restaurant with tasteless food and very slow waiters who absolutely don't care. The food was poor on the New Year menu! Strongly NOT recommended.

My co-worker recommended this place. It's not fancy, but it's OK and the food was quite good. This was my first trip to Austria for a long time, so I stuck with more traditional items. The goulash soup and Wienerschnitzel were both good (and the portions of the latter were huge), the salad was average. Service was fine, though it... More

This restaurant is quite good. Close to the river, in the middle of the way between the train station and the city center. Traditional Austrian/German food, good (local) beers. Not so expensive for low budget travelers, of course, thre is a kebab shop in the next corner but you will miss the experience. Service was excellent, nice waiter, english speaker,... More

Just great German/Austrian food and very very good beer. Service was a bit slow but the folks were friendly. They had to find an English speaking waitress for me
