Extremely popular eaterie in Graz centre.

Ate outdoors on a Friday night at this very busy restaurant. Service rather slapdash but nothing to really complain about, and made up by the quality of the food. Marvellous pumpkin soup and a wonderful hirschgulaş (deer casserole) went down nicely, with a large glass of Gősser beer to go with... read more

It was not easy to find a restaurant in downtown Graz that serves local specialities. After looking around (and asking locals) for 30 minutes we ended up here and were glad. I had soup (beef broth with liver dumpling), my son had wienerschnitzel from pork. It was fine. Surprisingly we had very little portion of boiled potatoes for garnish (so... More

Quite hidden in the centre of Graz, this restaurant has traditional food, natural fruit syrup for children and pleasant personnel. The service is fast and the menu complete for almost all tastes. We definitely will eat next time !

I love how when you go here that you're given cranberry sauce with your Schnitzel. One of my favourite restaurants in Graz!

The cuisine of Styria is an interesting mixture of Austrian, Italian i Slovenian influences. Everything at its best can be found at Welscher Stub'n. Nicely located in the Old Town of Graz Stub'n serves excellent meals: everything is fresh, tasty and prepared according to the Styrian style. They have nice selection of the wines from the region. Service is very... More

Hearty austrian food on display. Do not miss the local Gosser beer vom fuss, nice, slightly bitter and very tasty. Fast service by the girls. Good hearty food, excellent deserts. Beware of the schnapps at the end of the dinner, they can easily send you to bed earlier..

Attended a conference at the Congress Graz in the historic part of town and this restaurant was recommended and only about 20 steps away. We had an enjoyable experience, with good service that helpfully provided suggestions when asked and had English menus on hand. It has a red and white, nice, traditional looking interior and all the patrons we saw... More

Well, Graz is not really a tourist town - even though there is a lot to see. Why do I mention that? Because there are still many Restaurants who don't have a menu in english, and some places are not so confident speaking it either. Back to The Welscher Stubn: Competent staff, bringing the menu in the appropriate language, remembering... More
