If Julie Andrews was singing about her favourite things today she'd include the Schlossberg in Graz. It's a long time since I have had food as good as this. Local Austrian food that's better than Michelin star food. I had a salad with pumpkin seed dressing which was really tasty. The Schnitzel has to be the finest in Austria and... More

We celebrated my husband's birthday in this lovely restaurant with two good Austria friends from Graz. It had snowed for the first time that Winter on the morning of January 24th so everywhere around the mountain looked picture postcard. We started our night with a cocktail in the lovely Sky Bar, which were reasonably priced at €7.50 considering it's pretty... More

In all senses of the word, this place is hard to top. For one thing it stands upon the highest point of the city, with a stunning view from the huge plate-glass windows. For another, the food and service are for its class (on the pricey, upscale end) almost unbeatable. Reservations are a must and I would recommend reserving an... More

The restaurant is located within a medieval castle on top of a mountain. It's about 300-400 metres above city, which of course makes it a great place to get a good bird's eye view on Graz. Our party of five got a table (without reservation) next to the panoramic window with ease. Some of the staff struggle with English, but... More

In accordance with its name, this restaurant is situated on the top of Schlossberg. It's a very convinient to get there using Schlossbergbahn. The entrance to the restaurant is located right around the corner of upper Schlossberg-station. I and my colleagues had a table in some distance from a window; thus we could not enjoy a nice view over the... More

Very nice loaction to get an astonishing view of Graz. the way to the top is not very long. We had a local drink called "Sturm" and enjoyed the view. The area is always a good place for a walk and explore the nice plateaus.

We had our wedding at the Schlossberg Bar & Restaurant. The food, drinks, service, location and attention were outstanding. Some guests were saying it was the best food they had in a long time.

At Schlossberg you are sure to be served with a very tasty meal no matter what you order. The prices are definitely not the lowest in Graz. But here you pay not only for the food but as well for the great view which you can admire while having your meal. "Iced Pumpkin Seed Cone" is the thing that made... More

One of must see things when in Graz, go there on various occasions if you have the opportunity to, especially in spring time or fall (october would be the best). Beautiful view that you must not miss, nice service, i recommend caffe or soft drinks or beer, food is pretty expensive, Graz iz not the cheapest of all places in... More

The evening up the elevator and a few meters walk, u at this restaurant stop 464m above Graz. Crowded, well patronized, ok food, service they are trying hard to match the crowd, in all an ok trip. The fish soup, the summer menu, the Best of fish food, the dessert were all excellent. They also serve a sparkling wine, very... More
