Delightful breakfast

Best place to meditate on the city and surroundings over a local cusine served expertly. There's an interesting tour of the department store to get up to the restaurant.

A funicular up the mountain. Offers a view over the city. Drinks and food are excellent. Portions more than enough. Service can be a bit snobby. There is a bier garden and late night bar too. Plus a theater just behind where I am told there are all kinds of performances.

We had a really nice walk up to the top of the hill where the restaurant is placed. We actually went up for the views and the tower clock and we had the nice surprise to find the beautiful sky bar terrace. We had coffee , cappuccino and sacher torte and was all really nice presented and tasty. Next time... More

Getting to the restaurant, in itself, is fun. You take the funicular up the steep hill (those who prefer to walk can, of course, do so). People working there seemed friendly and attentive. We were served by a very friendly man. As many others have pointed out, the view from the restaurant, if you get a table by the window,... More

This is a great experience in Graz, despite being "touristy". Everything from the climb up to the top to the meal, gives you a feeling you are experiencing something different. You will have a wonderful view of the city as dusk falls and although the tables were packed in tightly, the service was first class. As a business dinner, we... More

Nice place for austrian and international dishes. You can walk up....and be very tired when you arrive, or take a small cable car..... Beautiful view, friendly staff, and nice food, with good local wines. I woill come back next time i am in Graz.

Normally, I would expect second rate but expensive food, where there is little competition, in an 'obvious' location (in this case just at the top station of the funicular railway) and where they'll never expect to see most visitors again! But, next time I'm in Graz, they'll certainly see me again! Absolutely first rate food, impeccably presented, professionally served and... More

We walked up to this restaurant for dinner, so were especially appreciative of everything we received! It was mid-May and a bit chilly so we opted for a table inside the glass wall, still with a great view over the city. There were several couples outside, enjoying the best views, but they had obviously come dressed up with warmer clothes... More
