Went here after checking Tripadvisor and was asked if we had a reservation - as the restaurant seemed deserted we were slightly amused at the waiters negative reaction to our "no". Fortunately more people arrived during the evening or else it could have been odd dining (almost) alone. Friendly service, menus in English. Starters were Pumpkin soup (very good) and... More

I live in Graz and if I could only choose one restaurant to recommend to travellers to Graz, this would be it. Situated in one of the most impressive buildings in the city, the renaissance Landhaus, the Keller offers up top quality Austrian, especially Styrian, cuisine with class. Be sure to wear a shirt, if not a jacket. By Graz... More

What a beautiful entrance to this Keller, flowers & lighting that highlight this 16th century Renaissance building. The interior is also beautiful with cross & arched vaults. A great wait team mostly young who all seemed to have a jovial outlook were very friendly & obliging. I began my dinner with the Cream Soup of Parsnip & Chestnuts which came... More

We came here mid week and the place still was relatively busy. Sign of a good place. I had goose liver for starter and wife had Pumpkin soup. Both amazing. For mains I had oven fried goose, my wife the ravioli. Both the ravioli and goose were dry and for a fatty bird it doesn't make much sense. We were... More

Went for another anniversary dinner. Sat at a very nice table in the front room. Our server was attentive and accommodating. After a nice meal at a brew pub the night before, we really enjoyed the higher end food preparations and service. Very pleased with every dish we ordered, when we couldn't decide on which dessert, our waiter brought several... More

For my last meal in Graz we went to the Landhaus Keller, the atmosphere was completely different to the more modern restaurants in Graz but the traditional feel was very welcoming and food was fantastic, the beef carpaccio was great then I had the schnitzel followed by the mixed 5 desserts which were all fantastic, but one of the most... We had dinner here at Landhaus-Keller on the recommendation of our hotel. What a great evening is all I can say. Very good food, all locally sourced and seasonal offerings....I had a ragout of deer - excellent with wonderful bread dumplings....and red cabbage; my partner had another traditional Austrian beef dish that was also excellent. We started with the chestnut... More

Historic ambience, very good Styrian beef, fresh vegetables according to season, a wine selection worth studying and if you are at a loss, there is always good advice which one to select. The service is excellent and decent. Personally I'd spice up a bit more but this might not be welcome by the majority of guests. Amuse-gueule could be more... More
