The Magnolia is a restaurant which self-confidently tests the limits of good taste – in a positive sense. Austrian-Mediterranean ingredients go into the pot, and top international cuisine emerges. It’s not just Gault Millau and the Falstaff who appreciate this with their limitless enthusiasm. It's anyone who has ever eaten here.

Absolutely delicious

We had a 4-course menu. Exceptional taste and quality of the food. Impeccible service. Quite expensive, but worth the money. If I ever return to Graz, I will return to Magnolia!

Visited Magnolia on a business trip to Graz. I had the daily special menu which was five courses, with several 'presents' from the kitchen thrown in. The food was excellent with great combinations of taste and textures. The restaurant was very busy and unfortunately, the service albeit very attentive, was quite slow. Would recommend the food, but not if you... More

Visited in December with a couple of friends due to the high recommendation from reviewers of Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed, the food was amazing - the highlight was the steak tartare, highly recommended. The venue itself is small but gives an intimate feel rather than being claustrophobic. Overall is a must eat restaurant if you are visiting Graz.

We went to the Magnolia because we were staying at the neighbouring hotel, and were amazed at the high quality and variety of the food. In between courses, we were treated to a variety of little treats and tasters – all of them delicious. Staff were helpful and attentive, and everything on the menu was interesting. An absolute treat.

Easy to see why this one is rated so highly. Treated to lunch by son and wife and had really great food. The restaurant is linked to the adjacent hotel. Its location is a little away from the centre and in an area that needs some tender loving care. The food however needs no improvement. Service was impeccable. Choice of... More

We've been to Magnolia twice already, second time with our nine-year-old son. Food was extraordinary every time. A 3 course meal comes with a few extras (small prestarter, amuse bouche, bread with various spreads, palate cleanser) and is more than enough, even for hungrier diners. Suggested wine went nicely with the food. Service was great as well. Loved the fact... More

We had booked into into the hotel next door and we went for food for convenience. Little did we know we were in for such a treat of high quality food and service. The staff were so friendly and brought us lots of delights to try before our main course started. We will back next we visit Graz

We were tired and hungry and needed to eat, and tis was our only option. We ordered and for the next hour were presented with bits and pieces that we had not ordered and did not want. By the time our meal came we were over the whole experience. I can appreciate a fine dining experience like anyone else but... More

In all honesty when you pay EUR300 for two you should expect a lot... The food was great but being kicked out at 10:30pm because the restaurant closes? Sorry... Graz is not that provincial or is it?
