I read the reviews before going there but decided I would give it a try, how disappointing it was. There is no atmosphere, no sooner had we sat at our table they were asking us what we wanted to drink we hadn't even seen the menu. There was no need to rush us as there were several empty tables. The... More

This restaruant and bar were next door to the hotel I stayed at in Linz. It hhad a very outdoor and indoor seating area. The Sunday buffet was very good. The presentation was beautiful and the meat and fish served were being cooked outside on the patio grill. It wasn't the most outstanding food I've ever had but it was... More

We ate here on a spur of the moment decision on a hot summer evening. We sat in the courtyard with a fantastic view of the Dom church, the stained glass windows lit up from within. It was calm and cool and very pleasant. The staff at the restaurant were delightful, apologizing for not having a menu in English, but... More

We decided to eat here due to the location and the lay out. Very trendy, close to our hotel ( same property) in the Dom place. Everything nice but food!! Meaningless dishes, not matching with what they bring you. Sniezle with a horrible bad oil taste. Too fast service. Always in a hurry. Better you find a classic "stube" were... More

A souless "wannabe" designer restaurant where the interior is better than the food itself. Hopefully overpriced, tiny portions, unimaginative dishes, it was an altogether disappointing experience. One of those restaurants where everyone feels they have to talk in a hushed voice and sip wine stiffly.

Restaurant in the 'new' fashionable area of Linz. The food they serve also tries to be fashionable, but helas. I had mixed marinated vegetables as starters, not bad, but this was not a dish. Sauted 'mediterranean' chicken as main course...I travelled a lot around mediterranean countries, enough to know that this dark brown sauce was rather 'Teutonic'. The mediterrenean touch... More

In Linz' city centre there is a huge Dom which used to be surrounded by trees, a park and a pond. About 2 years ago they started tearing down all that surrounded the Marien Dom much to most peoples dismay. They built an Hotel, a conference centre and some office bulidings in the place of the park. Dom viertel was... More
