A short buissness trip to Monaco left us looking for somewhere to eat last minute. As we were staying at the hotel it was easier to stay and eat there. My husband is a very picky eater and very chritical, we found no fault with this Resteraunt, pre dinner drinks in the blue bar followed by a lovely... read more

Liked the food, even if I am not sure I would consider it Michelin-star level. I however assure you it does not matter: the ambiance and service are so bad you will barely enjoy the experience. So the steak tartare is wonderfully citrusy, the black rice delicious, the poulette as juicy and tender as one could hope for...but...BUT: Desserts are... More

The chef has just got 1 Michelin Star and he deserves it! the food is good, especially the use of delicate spicies which create different interesting flavours. Unfortunatly the service is not at the same level: the waiters are not prepared to esplain the concept of each plate (or they aren't trained to do that). This is a pity, beacause... More

During our trip to the south of France and 10 straight nights eating at phenomenal restaurants only Blue Bay disappointed. It is possible my expectations were to high but we experienced very little to recommend. The outdoor seating was closed due to an anniversary party that night. That said, we thought the indoor restaurant was a modern design and quite... More

Dining outside, looking out to the sea in October. Wow. And then came the food.... It was simple phenomenal. Truffles with soft boiled egg and manioc. The Caribbean has arrived, the spices in my fish soul added warmth without fire. Couldn't get enough of the herbs in the panko flaked sardine, and the sugar bowl that held my dessert was... More

As we were staying at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel for a surprise 30th birthday, I decided to book the Blue Bay restaurant for our first night and I have to say it was brilliant. The outside setting of the restaurant is brilliant and a real treat. The table was set to look out of the bay and amazingly lit... More

Nice scenery outside, even though inside dining room is not spectacular. Service is nice, I'd say a bit too much 'in your face' trying to take away your food 3 times, even if you say you didn't finish. I'd understand that, if the restaurant was full and had a queue waiting outside, so they want you to finish as fast... More

Amazing scenery, good food quality, appreciable kindness and impressive professionalism but the prices are totally unconnected to the real world. 478 € for a bottle of Gewurtztraminer, two drinks, two appetizers, two first courses and two main dishes without dessert and coffee is an unreasonable request

Dear PaoloSchmidt, First of all, thank you for having experienced the Blue Bay and for sharing your feedback. Your comment has particularly caught our attention. The final amount depends on Guest’s “gourmet” choice (for food or wine&drinks) and of course the number of guests. The 3-courses menu is rated at 75 € and the 4-courses menu at 85€. Our Chef... Its a difficult place to review; the terrace looks out over the Monaco bay so the view is stunning; the restaurant itself is quite contemporary, but hasn't quite escaped the "restaurant in a hotel" look, its still a bit 70's and feels "hotel-like" as opposed to Luxury Restaurant. We were unlucky as the weather forced THREE changes of table, eventually... More

Dear Brett Jolly, Thank you for having diner art the Blue Bay and for sharing your experience. I’m very happy to read such a comment.
