Good spot for lunch

This place looks like it could get quite lively in the evening, but we were here for lunch. Nice meal outside; waiter accommodated my request for a table in the shade. My husband was happy with his burger. I had an enormous club sandwich. Relaxed meal. The stands for the Monte Carlo Grand Prix were... read more

After having been at Buddha Bar, we decided to go to Black Legend, located in the port area. We had a very bad experience. Service too slow, bad cocktail (low quality andnot mixed....cocktail cart is very short, 10/15 at maximum, waitress very unpolite). We told the waiter about the bad Mojito we had (the worst we had in out life)... More

We were going to go to the Buddha Bar, but after a full day of touring and anticipating an early flight the next day, decided to go here instead. Good decision. I don't know why the restaurant wasn't full; the food was very good and the service was friendly and accommodating. We both got the tomato and mozzarella salads, and... More

I visited Black Legend Monaco with a corporate group of 40. We received a warm welcome from the young and attentive staff. Guests started with a welcome drink and were given the option to take this on the terrace, overlooking Monte Carlo's yacht-filled waterfront. Guests seated we were promptly served our sharing menu: STARTERS TO SHARE Assorted Spanish Cold Cut... More

The restaurant was nice - seats a little low but nothing major. The food was good but the portion sizes were small. We had a band, good but too loud for the venue. Has an outside area, great for getting out for a bit. Staff were great and brought extra food. Good for large functions, may not go for a... More

The food is OK at this place, but nothing stands out. It is not horrendously expensive but not cheap either. I found the atmosphere a bit dark. It's not a place I'd rush back to. The 'goth' atmosphere (or whatever it is they are trying to create) doesn't really appeal.

Euro 30/main course is the price range but it is a very good food. Menu is hectic with caviar, burger, sushi, and fish on the same two pages but Black Cod and Burger were terrific. Mind you just about any hole in Monaco is charging Euro20/main course so at least here the food is good.

We have had dinner at the Black Legend several times and especially there Black Cod is a very interesting experience. The resturant also have a function as a lounge and you have just a drink or got for dinner as we did. All outside in the summer and close to the Monaco atmosphere right at the harbor . The service... Monaco is always a place you need to relax and take in the action. Black Legend is a must, the door staff is polite and not rude like other snobby places on the Riviera. I enjoyed the food and of course the great tunes. Live music great food and great people = good times. I would like to see a... More
