Came on a busy friday night, randomly, without having an idea what kind of restaurant it was. Immediatelly pleasantly surprised by an amazing view and very nice terrace. Loved the open kitchen in the back, very nicely decorated and stylish. We got a really nice table even though we did not have a reservation. Greeted by friendly and professional waiter.... More

This place is one of the best in Monte Carlo. Fantastic service with waiters everywhere ready to help you with everything. The food is very good and the wine pairing also. Can really recommend this place.

We visited as part of birthday celebrations for my husband and were not disappointed with the amazing view. We were incredibly lucky to have fireworks to watch with our dinner, but apparently this isn't a usual occurrence! The food was good, not great and there isn't a huge amount to choose from. The flavours were lovely and the produce was... More

First the site- Spectacular views of Monaco and the harbour. The staff-Professional and very knowledgeable. The starters- Great the sliced Italian meats great- the small plates ala tapas excellent from the pate of rabbit to the vitelo tonato excellent. Then it went down rapidly- 5 shrimp from San Remo while fresh the sauce was weak and the shrimp tiny. IAs... More

The food is good, I had the fish John Dory. it was grilled and not dry. The scenic view and the outline of lights on the coasts adds to the ambiance m full packed in summer evening.

At La Trattoria the staff is doing exactly what they are supposed to do but they aren't very warm about it. You as a guest are paying to be there and for some reason I was never able to forget that. The view is stunning. And of course Alain Ducasse's name is on the door. The food was good, it... More

La trattoria is Alain Ducasse's Italian offering in Monaco. For reasons I don't understand some of our fellow residents don't like it dismissing it as 'Frenchmen doing Italian'!! I think it's excellent and the Ducasse spin on the Italian 'standards' really works for me (easily beating the awful Cipriani). The service is great too and the sommeliers super friendly and... Great atmosphere and beautiful surrounding. Excellent service. However, food and menu wasn't interesting, too simple and the cookies served with the coffee were very bad!
