Description: Sass cafe owes its name to the owner, Sassa, and is a "must" of the monegasque nights. Chic and warm decor, dimmered lights, mediterranean inspired cuisine.... It all seems normal and peaceful until.... Towards dinner's end is when Sass cafe works its magic with its metamorphosis.... The musicians get comfortable, sounds and voices start to warm up and live music accompanies you into the early hours of the evening. Sass Cafe's resident DJ's eclectic mixes then take the stand to lead into the rest of night.

One of the reasons why Sass is a institution in Monaco is that it's more than just a restaurant. The owners are very present, very welcoming and full of fun, the crowd is either young or rich or both. Food is very good, it's a classic upscale brasserie sort of choice, service superb, and an ideal spot for getting in... More

We decided to go there as a group after dinner at Le Bouchon next door. First of all like most places in Monte Carlo, it was very expensive. I am under the impression that if you do not order for a certain amount you will not get to sit down at a table. Luckily we had ordered copious amounts of... More

expensive food, rude service (in Monaco, a smile will cost you money!), lots of prostitutes and Russians of 'ill repute'... Only go there late at night and when already slightly drunk.

I don't understand the bad reviews online. Sass Cafe is an institution and all of the locals go here. David Coutlhard recently listed it as his favourite nightclub in MC - he prefers it to Jimmy'z and Cafe de Paris. Although strictly speaking it's not a club, it's lively and full of people of all ages dancing on tables, chairs... More

We had a great night here. Great atmosphere, drinks and shisha! One of my favourite nights out in Monaco. Will be back.

I was there with my friends. Well to say the truth. I cant have diner with people smoking chicha next to me. It just doesn't suit the theme of that restaurant. My food was ok but not impressive. I've had salmon but nothing so special about it. Music was good like all restaurants in monaco. The mood was fine as... More

Sass is a low key cafe in the middle of all the pomp and glory of Monte Carlo. It is very casual dressing and visited by "normal" looking people - not the plastic beauties that dominate the Monte Carlo landscape. You will enjoy a throwback to a NYC village cafe.

Don't go here if good and a quiet scene is what you are looking for, this is a place to see, drink, eat and enjoy and btw the food was much better than expected. Calimari frites are tasty with thin fresh pastry, deep and dry fried. The risotto with langoustines cooked at time and taste. The piccata al limone divine.... More

I have been going to Monaco for the last 15 years. I have never been disappointed. Friday or saturday night are a great people watch scene.

Please don't go, for you money's sake and your taste buds. Your meal will be overpriced and the service is snobbish rude and disrespectful. This place is a disgrace for Monaco, unless your looking for hookers and spend 30 euros for a awful drink then this is for you or else keep your money for something else. Monaco has changed... More
