Good people watching spot for a drink or lunch.

Shady spot in the square to stop for a drink or snack for lunch. The pitta with halloumi and salad was particularly good. Friendly welcome and reasonable prices. Large screen showing various sports. Free wifi.

During our week in Polis we had either pre or post dinner drinks at the Central Point. It's a good spot to watch the world go by and even the non-stop sport on the large screen TV is not particularly intrusive. Chris, the owner, always welcomed us and Louis the main staff member was prompt and friendly in serving us... More

We went here for drinks one night, it was OK but the waiting staff were not that attentive and the owner even less so. There is a guy and girl serving normally who sit by the bar door with long faces both chewing gum, what a put off. Not surprising it is generally not that well frequented. Like the previous... More

Good meeting place, comes across not as friendly as the two cafe/restaurants next door much less attentive as those two but ok on the whole, prehaps a little staff training as the gent who served us was a little overbearing and hovered around us. We much prefer next door or the restaurant opposite

We stopped for an afternoon beer on a recent visit to Polis. The place has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, and is perfect for people watching. There are also some swifts nesting in the eaves of the buildings opposite; delightful to watch. We were really shocked though by the cost of two beers. So we'd recommend you check the prices before... More

Called into Central Point Cafe for breakfast before driving to the airport to return back to the UK. We had a huge glass of freshly squeezed orange juice for 1 euro, absolute bargain, it was superb. I ordered their yoghurt, honey and walnuts which was delicious (probably not that good for the waistline). My partner had the full breakfast which... More

This Café has been our calling place for a number of years and for a number of reasons. There is always a warm welcome, you can "people watch" in the Barbers, walking the lanes of Polis and simply enjoy the cool breeze in this central spot. Having only ever stopped for drinks, the food looks and smells amazing and on... More

Chris and the team are wonderful. Friendly with everyone and always make sure people are happy. You could go here time and time again, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great atmosphere when playing live football on champions league evenings.

It's a meeting point for those especially if they want to watch football or any kind of sport. The serve snacks and is a friendly place. Ideal for an after dinner drink or too.
