This restaurant is about simple food in a stunning location. You get to it via a coastal track which is OK for anyone (like me) without a Ferrari, climb a winding track and there you are, sitting outdoors under a shaded roof overlooking beach and sea. Just a great view. menu is a tad limited, spit roast chicken, pork or... More

The Last Castle is very popular amongst the ex pat fraternity. A great place to take visitors to the island as the views are beautiful across the Akamas Peninsula. You do need a 4x4 to reach it although many leave their cars and walk up - not recommended in the high temperatures. Traditional Cypriot souvla - pork or chicken or... More

A unique setting overlooking the Akamas Peninsular and the blue Mediterranean Sea. This old castle has large old stone table to seat large parties the food, although limited is some of the tastiest in Cyprus. A must if you are hungry and don't forget your camera.

This is in a fantastic location. The menu is mainly set, with a plate of chicken, pork, massive potato wedges with bread & salad, cooked on a huge BBQ. Great value. . At weekends, you may wait for a while to get seated. It is owned and run by a very friendly family. A few more points! There is a car... More

The restaurant is a bit off the main road, but well worth a visit. Food was surprisingly good and staff very friendly. Gets busy at weekends.

This is a fantastic location, lovely setting, the food was a set menu for 12euros which included chicken, pork, potato wedges with bread & salad, all of this was cooked to perfection on a huge BBQ. Really good value. The road is very rough up to the restaurant so be careful .

As usual our last trip was great - a bit breezy and the wind was getting autumnal but still a beautiful setting and lovely food. Simple souvla - pork, chicken or mixed cooked on a traditional bbq and served with a big bowl of fresh salad and chips the size of a quarter potatoe! Delicious. Our previous visit was on... More

Although the road is a little on the rough side it is worth the effort, drive carefully if you have a hire car or park below and walk up the hill. Booking is recommended especially if you would like to sit and admire the view whilst eating. Perched high on the hill it is difficult not to have a good... More

We have visited the last castle many times over the last two years the road up to this restaurant is a bit bumpy but the food and the view is well worth it and the price is very good. Please note this restaurant is only open from April until October
