Have eaten at Tweedies several times and they never fails to impress! It was my birthday and we were inviting two friends to share the experience with us. The usual warm welcome on walking in and, the chalkboard wishing me a happy birthday! Hilary kindly...offered two menu's without prices as I wanted our friends to choose what they would like to eat rather than what they thought they should order. Opted for the red house wine which is very reasonably priced and very drinkable! The food was absolutely perfect, we all enjoyed our choices absolutely no complaints at all. Even had a small cake with a candle and happy birthday sang! 😲😲 Tweedies was the perfect choice, its around the corner from our local where we had a few drinks first and the restaurant itself always looks so welcoming with a lovely atmosphere there. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tweedies either for just a nice meal or a special event.More

Attentive staff, fabulous food, relaxed atmosphere. An absolute highlight of our holiday, we will return for more of the same. We all ate (and tasted) different meals and there wasn’t an out of place flavour. Chef came and chatted at the end of the evening,...a fabulous night. We will be back for more of the same.More

We visited tweedies last night for another fabulous meal. We have been going to tweedies for several years and 6 or 7 times in a year. It is ran by Hikary and Craig, you get the warmest welcome from Hilary and Craig is the chef....The food is something different and the menu only made up of what he can get fresh. This restaurant is on par with a Michelin star restaurant. By far our favourite in Cyprus. So if you're looking for something a little different with a welcoming smile and amazing food, this is the place.More

It was simply by chance that we stumbled upon the beautiful treasure ‘Tweedies’ as we desperately wanted to try some langoustine whilst visiting Cyprus. Tweedies was suggested and the pictures alone of their international cuisine was enough to prompt us to make a reservation for...dinner. We admittedly had high hopes and we can honestly say that we were not disappointed in the slightest - in fact we were utterly blown away with our experience. From booking with Hillary, right the way through to when we left. Our time at Tweedies was nothing short of sensational. Customer service - best we’ve had in Cyprus. Cuisine - tantalisingly excellent! Wines - absolutely divine! The creativity of the team with the chef is outstanding. We are so glad to have booked and to have experienced such fine foods whilst here in Cyprus. We couldn’t recommend Tweedies more. It’s a must have experience! Thank you so much to Hillary, Bryony, the chef and wider team. We truly had the most wonderful, intimate, experience. It was a true blessing to have met you and to have experienced your food. Wishing you all the very best and we look forward to visiting you again in the future! - JCMore

For those who don’t know, on the last Sunday/Monday every month Tweedies do tapas. Over 25 small plates to choose from. Very fair prices (€2-€6). Mainly small versions of dishes that have been on the main menu over the month. It’s a fantastic way to...sample the delights that come out of Craig’s kitchen. Today we had mussels, snails, fish cakes, croquettes, langoustine, ribs, lamb, samosas and chicken plus Thai rice pudding and custard tart. All outstanding The best way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon 🙃More

We visited last year and returned this year while on holiday , wonderful food and atmosphere but the USP for this restaurant is the owners. Unfortunately they close during peak season so we only have the opportunity to visit once while in Paphos . The...food choice is wonderful , all fresh and cooked to perfection. The welcome is relaxed and friendly which is just perfect. The chef came out at the end of the evening to talk to all of the customers…….keep doing what you do you have the perfect recipe for what is an amazing restaurant ……. Hope to see you next year 😁More

This turned out to be an excellent restaurant that is a little above the usual run of the mill places we encountered and so it was no surprise that we visited 3 times during our 2 week stay. The food, service and ambience was everything...we could wish for. Craig the chef did an excellent job cooking very high standard fare and Hilary on front of house was most charming and helpful to us.I particularly enjoyed the crispy duck and the potatoes that Craig prepared are to die for.More

It was our 50th wedding anniversary so booked as we had a wonderful meal previously. Starters, ok. Main course. My steak came perfectly cooked, but my husband's rack of lamb came over cooked. Sent back. As it was such a special occasion, I did not...want to eat my main course alone. When meals came back lamb was still overcooked. I was so upset I could not eat anything. My husband is a chef and it was so disappointing that there were two attempts to cook lamb pink and failed. My cousin had advised restaurant of occasion and our names were on board outside and gold ribbon round candle on table. That is what I will remember of the night. Definitely not meal. Sorry first bad review I have ever given a restaurant.More

Made a booking for Saturday night, booking is essential! Had a warm welcome and was able to choose where to sit from any of the 2 place tables. Made our choices from the menu and ordered wine (a nice Argentinian Malbec!). Starters soon appeared of...Langoustine & beetroot and bacon soup both of which were really good and some artistic flair with the soup - see the photo! For mains opted for the French trimmed rack of lamb which was cooked to perfection for me (med to well done) and the calves liver. Both dishes were perfect as were the accompanying vegetables. Opted to have a pudding (which isn't our norm), decided on the lemon sorbet which was so good, would have been nice between started and main as a palete cleanser. My partner had the sticky toffee pudding with icecream. The whole experience was just perfect!More
