This is our favourite place to visit during regular trips to cyprus. The taverna produces excellent local fare, the Cypriot night if fun on a Friday . We always try and visit a couple of times a week as the owner Anita always makes guest very welcome and the service is excellent . The village is also a lovely place... More

We arrived just before noon for lunch as it took us less time to get there than expected but the hostess was very welcoming and accommodating. We ordered Meze and she explained that it would take some time as they had not yet lit the charcoal. We said this was fine as we were not in any hurry, however she... More

Second visit to this restaurant after travelling 40 minutes in the sweltering Cyprus heat 2 days before to arrive at 3.10 to be told they stop serving at 3 (our fault and lesson learned to come earlier) so 2 days later we take the same journey to arrive at 2.05 - seeing plenty of tables we go up to the... This place was worth the drive from peyia. I have never ever been somewhere where there are so many people that have returned to this place year after year. Customers and staff were so friendly and food was either sourced and made locally or in house. Thank you so much to the lovely owners whom treated us like friends and... More

THE GOOD: Very good food excellent service great little extras personal touch THE NOT SO GOOD: Honestly the only thing is driving up that hill to get there but well worth the trip. When we went to the tavern it was number 2 on Tripadvisor. We thought it was number one, I see they have now taken the number one... More

Found the place via Tripadvisor in a little village in the hills 20km from our rented holiday apt. Read some of the reviews and as expected we were warmly welcomed individually by the husband and wife team who where born to run a restaurant like this. so friendly and informative of the menu items and their pronunciation, even though it... We went there for dinner with friends who live in Cyprus. Anita, the hostess was lovely, chatty, helpful, full of charm & personality.... Tony her husband who we briefly met is also just lovely. Food & wine were excellent, portion sizes were huge. My husband loved his Chicken in pepper sauce as much as the wine. I had the traditional... More

we found this restaurant on tripadviser and I can say: it is really perfect restaurant. My wife and I take a meat mezze and is was very delicious, but only problem is it was to much. When I come next time I will go again in this restaurant. And one more think, owner are the best.
