Ta Bania overlooks a lido of safe clear water and serves excellent filter coffee which I savour as Mary swims. The beauty of this restaurant and café is its excellent infrastructure. Showers, toilets, unobstructed sea views and safe, supervised swimming under Lifeguard Gegory's eagle eye. Perfect!

The all inclusive hotel we were staying at was not great so we went into the harbour to eat and stumbled upon this place. It looked clean and there was something for everyone on the menu. It was our last night so we wanted something authentic, we were not dissapointed! I asked the waiter what the Cyprus Meze consisted of,... More

If all you want is nice food then this is the place for you, however if u are looking for friendly service avoid this place. The food is very expensive and be aware you pay service fee as part of the bill. This would be worthwhile if the service received was worthy of a payment. But when we went it... More

Visited this restaurant whilst on holiday in Cyprus and both my husband and I loved it. The restaurant is on a beautiful setting, we literally had a table next to the sea. The food was absolutely lovely and huge portions! I had spaghetti with king prawns (15euros) which was delicious with 4 huge prawns in a tomato sauce. My husband... More

Right next to the sea - what an amazing location - fabulous food, try the mixed Souvlaki. Great place just for a coffee, pre dinner drink or lunch. Came recommended by Chris Alden in 250 Things to do in Cyprus on a Sunny Day - just one of many restaurants we tried this week. definitely worth a visit

What an excellent restaurant. Lovely views sitting right next to the sea. Very extensive menus and they are very generous with portions. Try to Ouzo meze for starter or the marinated octopus - both are first class dishes. So much choice for main course too but the fresh seafood is definitely worth a try. Staff are very helpful, friendly, and... More

This place has one of the nicest locations; exactly next to the sea. We were seated outdoor in the shade, overseeing the beautiful beach. My girlfriend and I visited this place a few times. The food is good, service is prompt, free wifi, and altogether a very good experience. I found this place a lil' on the expensive side but... More

Ta Bania is always on our visit list when we go to Paphos. Not only does it have a great location right on the sea front, but the atmosphere and food are always great. They have a great choice of snacks and a full a la carte evening menu. We have had various mezes, steaks, salads and 'snacks', and never... More

Had a meal at Ta Bania (The Baths) a few times in different times of the year and it was always great. The restaurant is right on the sea front and on a stormy days the waves splash into the doors - brilliant! Excellent service and good value considering location. Worth trying!

We have been using Ta Bania, ("The Sails" being its english translation) in all its different guises and rebuilds since 1991. This place is a must to visit especially during the summer months for either your main meal of the day, a snack or just a drink. There is nothing nicer than pulling up two chairs and having a few...
