We found this restaurant at the end of our holiday last year and were determined to come back, thank goodness we did....twice. Having bee overwhelmed by the sheer volume of quality food in the meze last year we had the moussaka and cypriot mixed grill first but made sure we booked for the Saturday kleftico evening. If you only book... More

I visited this restaurant after great reviews and I wasn't disappointed. It's a family run taverna that doesn't look much with no airs and graces and that's what I love. The food is traditional home cooked and is the best!! I originally went for the kleftico only to find that you had to pre order as they only did it... More

Reasonably priced food and drink in a family run restaurant. Try their Kleftico (Slow oven cooked lamb on the bone) Set menus offer a wide choice of local and international food. Great food...great service at a very good price

We came here especially for the Cypriot meze (15 Euros per head) knowing that it was not a poor quality restaurant like the harbour types. 2 adults a 3 year old and an 8 month old. The owner pointed out that we would be there there for over an hour and a half and to make sure we were hungry,... More

If you would like good Cypriot food at a reasonable price then you must try the Argo. Only get there early as it is very popular. The moussaka and the Kleftico are wonderful. Yanis, the owner is quite a character but is always keen to please.

Visited Argo on two occassions whilst on recent holiday in Cyprus. We had two of the best meals we have had whilst on holiday anywhere. The Stifado and the Moussaka were absolutely delicious and the portions were very generous. The set menus had a great choice and were excellent value for money. You could tell that the dishes were freshly... More
