Simple, authentic, excellent value

A no nonsense, down to earth genuine Greek restaurant. It was end of season so very quiet but we were pleasantly suprised with a great value dinner.

Argo restaurant Paphos. Visited 4th to 11th November 2015 Sorry for late review but we are moving house. If there is one thing you do when you visit Paphos, it's to eat at Argo and have the Kleftico on a Saturday night. If you eat during the day you may have to do what we did and ask for a... More

Restaurant Argo is located at Paphos Aphrodite. It serves delicious food by very friendly staff. We can recommend the stifado, it tasted really nice.

Excellent friendly service during a thunderstorm so they were busy quite literally batting down the hatches. The food was good we had the mixed grill and sea bream, the house wine was very nice. The only thing I did not enjoy was the baklava. Overall I would visit this restaurant again.

My mate and I found this place in the Lonely Planet guide & it is certainly worth a visit. The halloumi and baklava were the best I've ever tasted & everyone around us was complimenting on how good the food was. One guy had been 4 days in a row - need I say more! The owner is lovely, very... More

Was lead here by the lonely planet. The moussaka is good, laden with cinnamon and all spice making it nice, the kleftiko, apparently house speciality, is good but not exceptional. It's only seasoned with salt and I've better elsewhere which was seasoned with herbs. The potatoes are to die for. The british style veges that also come with the meals... More

Very good meal very busy on the night we visited. Good service and atmosphere. Only problem we found was the sweet portions were very small compared to other places.

Despite plenty of competition in the town, this was our Paphos favourite. Food beautifully prepared, great value, and with friendly staff. But don't get here too late - it closes rather earlier than most other eateries.

We ate here after reading the reviews and glad we did. This restaurant is above street level and the view from the balcony was pleasant. We were first in however we were not alone for long as the tables soon filled up. Both main meals were delicious - I had the Stifado and my husband had the mixed grill -... More
