We ate at The Windmill last night. We've been visitors to Paphos many times but have never eaten here before, however, because of the high position on TA we thought it was high time. To start I had the calimari which consisted of 4 rings of slightly rubbery deep fried squid, not inedible but not the best. My husband had... More

What can i say that hasn't been said already? Nancy and her family are so friendly and really give that personal touch that many other restaurants lack. We actually went twice in our 2 week stay in Cyprus because its that good! Our first visit was with family & friends was for a pre wedding meal and Nancy had gone... More

During my holiday to Paphos we went here. There was a wedding at the restaurant while we there there, which was nice. The service was very good and food was excellent. I'd avoid the house wine though, it wasn't the best. The surrounding area is very tired looking and run down, but don't let that fool you. It is quite... More

After a lengthy walk around Paphos, deciding where to eat, we elected for The Windmill because it appeared to be traditional and not putting on a false image or trying to be something which it was not. There were several table already occupied including a "pre wedding" get-to-know-you group that were obviously enjoying the atmosphere. We opted for the sea... More

Wonderful food & great service from this family run restaurant. Some highlights were the very tasty complimentary lentil pre-starter, the beautifully sizzled fillet steak with peppers and mushrooms and the spectacular flamed coffee to finish. Service was great considering they were also hosting a wedding party. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, even sharing the recipe for the lentil dish.... More

I have visited this beautiful little taverna style restaurant for the first time to meet with friends. What a fabulous little place, beautifully decorated in the traditional style and such a fabulous Cypriot greeting from Nancy. Extensive menu with recommendations from Nancy -beautifully presented and very well cooked. I had only one problem - I could not eat it all... More

We had our wedding reception on 29th August 2014 and Nancy (the owner) could not do enough for us. We had the BBQ meze and it was delicious, the food just kept coming and every dish was outstanding. The homemade Tahini was out of this world, the lentils were sublime, the pork, the chicken wings omg!!!! It was everything I had... More

Staff were very attentive. Starters were lovely and we also had a lovely complimentary lentil dish. My partners main was good, but my main dish was too salty for my taste. To be fair to the restaurant, they immediately noticed that I had a problem and offered to make me another dish which I would have accepted if I hadn't... More
