Well Worth a Visit

Having a Timeshare close by we recently decided to pay it a visit especially as there had been so many good reviews. We decided to have the Meze at Euro 16 each with there being a warning on the menu that you need to be hungry to try it, and so it proved. We started with a salad accompanied... read more

We enjoyed everything that was served to us! Fresh, homemade style food! I loved the olive platters, moussaka, taramosalata and the rest. Recommended :)

We paid our second visit to the Melania, the first was 3 years ago but at least we got a meal then. This time, the order was completely messed up, I got my starter late and the salmon we ordered, recommended as a special because the fisherman had just delivered it to the restaurant, had not been ordered until we... We went here for dinner with high expectations. We ordered olive pate and tzatziki with pitta breads, we waited and waited for the pitta breads and I eventually asked if they could be brought. We ordered fresh salmon, house salad and chips for main, guess what? They forgot to bring the salmon. Again I reminded them and within 10 minutes... More

Finally visited after 3 years of coming to the isle, and this restaurant is literally just 5 mins down the road from where we stay. The reason it's taken so long is because my Dad likes what he likes and that's it. He will never try new food for fear of not liking it. Well, this fear so left him... More

Doesn't look much from outside & there can be nights when it's not very busy, but step under the vines & you're transported to original Cyprus. The food is amazing, all cooked by Elli while her husband Mattheos & son Georges are providing excellent service. If you haven't tried it, then do, you certainly won't regret it. The home grown... Don't be put off if you are the first customers, this place is the best place to eat in Paphos. I've eaten here every time time I'm in Paphos and it never fails to live up to the last visit. The kleftico is the best on the island, stifardo the same. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

During our time in Paphos, this is the best restaurant and meal we had whilst we were there. The food was amazing, all home grown or locally sourced and you get to eat outside under amazing grape vines. This is a must try if you are in Paphos and we would defo return.
