Front of house was excellent but let down by the food. The waitress upsold us a village salad, when you pay 6 euros for a plate of salad you expect a bit more than around 30 grammes of Feta and 5 (yes only 5 black olives). Adequate but not generous amounts of salad leaves, cucumber and tomato. Definitely a austerity... More

Went here on our last night having admired it from the outside as a traditional Greek taverna. We weren't disappointed! Gorgeous building with lots of historical photographs on the wall.Beautiful meal! I had Kleftiko and then baklava(served warm with ice cream-yum) and my partner had chicken souvla cooked on a charcoal spit. Can't wait to visit this restaurant again!

We would not normally have found this place but were recommended and directed here by the staff at the bus station, where we were going to take the late afternoon airport bus. It is in a quiet spot a few hundred metres from the harbour's busy restaurants. We sat in the tree covered patio where it was cool in the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere at this lovely tavern. The food was very fresh and tasty, I had Imam (aubergines and courgettes in a garlicky tomato sauce) and my partner had the lamb, both were absolutely delicious! The setting is also very pleasant and the staff give this place a very relaxing feel.

A family run taverna with friendly service and high quality Greek food. Our grilled fish and lamb chops were very tasty . Prices are good value.

Passed this place and thought it looked nice with the food coking on the BBQ at the front to attract you in. The food was traditional but not the tastiest we ate in Paphos and it was a little on the cold side for my liking. It was a shame as this could be a fantastic place due to its... More

Would really recommend this local and oldest resturant with lots of history. Food was delicious and so fresh the timing was brilliant we was given garlic bread for starter for free and had plenty of time to relaxe before our main meal. Felt very welcome and we could see lots of offers for special occasions and well advised. Would certainly... More

The location is ideal close to the Harbour and the nice thing is the outside seating. On arrivel they where very welcoming and once we had ordered the attention slipped. the Food was not bad but same as in most Tavernas. Their attention is focused only on new arrivals. We where a table of eight and we do love our... More

My girlfriend and I were in Cyprus for 10 days and visited Hondros three times - twice for dinner and once for lunch. All the meals were lovely - traditional Cypriot fare, mezes, grilled meats and fish - and the atmosphere great. It felt like we were involved in a locals' gathering, eating exactly the sort of food that they... More
