Found this whilst sipping some wine in the cafe opposite, great location, great ambience on the roof terrace, not too cold even in November. But, the food was a bit of a let down. Quite expensive too. Much better places to eat.

We wanted to visit a Taverna and found this place around the corner of our apartment. We were excited to see the Trip Advisor Recommendation award for 2012 displayed with pride. We chose our own seating that looked out to the church lit up which was stunning. The view is great if you choose the right side to sit. We... More

From the view of the old church to the lovely Cypriot food, you cannot go wrong with this rooftop open air restaurant. I had the Stifado and it was fantastic, very tasty and filling. My wife ate the Kleftiko, which was also brilliant. Staff were very friendly and prices reasonable. Enjoy!!!!

Taratsa is well know for the Church View and the terrace seating area and that's what got us excited about it when we saw it! We checked out the Menu in the Board and that made us happier! the food was real nice...the Salad, Pasta, Butter-Garlic Mushrooms (the best item we had) and the Grilled Octopus! all of them tasted... We were tempted to try out this restaurant for the views and invitation to climb the stairs. There was no atmosphere and it was uncomfortably quiet but decided to check out the menu anyway. All looked ok until we asked whether the portion of vine leaves for 12 euros would be sufficient for two chilldren and was told that there... More

The location was stunning, the service was fair but disappointing that we had to wait 15 mins to pay the bill. No one wants to wait to pay and we offered dessert. The food was adequate but not amazing. After hearing such great things we left disappointed which was a shame as we had been looking forward to the dinner

We ate here twice during our week in Larnaca and it was excellent both times. Andy the owner is very gracious and hospitable. The food was traditional and very flavorful. There's a welcoming wood fireplace in the corner which makes for a romantic and cozy experience. They play music and if you're lucky enough to be there when the locals... More

But average food and service, they promote a big log fire, very nice but we went in the middle of feb and it was hogged by the locals! Don't blame them but the rest of us weren't that warm! There was a three piece band and a singer....traditional Cypriot music, very nice but very loud for such a small area.... More
