Cyprus on a plate!

Best salad on the planet, better macaroni than any pasta ever tasted in Italy, kebabs filled with succulent local meat from the grill plus a table full of extras, there cannot be a better way to spend a lazy evening than the 'Cafe Aman' in Anafotia. We had a wonderful lunch at your taverna, wanting a local change from nice Aldiana club, where we stayed. Being the only guests, because everybody was at church for easter service, we had very interesting talks about Cyprus, economy and people, while Mama prepared the best Mezze we ever had! Andreas showed us around inside and outside with all the... More

This place is great. Super low key, very rustic and local with incredibly friendly owners. You are greeted warmly and invited to take a seat at a table by one of the owners. You wonder why they have only one or two settings at tables that could seat 6 and tables for 4-6 that could seat 10. It all makes... More

Good home-cooked food cooked and served by Andreas and Stavroula. Atmospheric, relaxed dining areas indoors and out.

Followed advice of other patrons and sought out Cafe Aman tonight. The meal was simply fantastic as was the genuinely warmth of our two hosts. Our meze for two plus drinks was €40 which was excellent value for money. If you're anywhere near Cafe Aman you really have to go!!

We were staying in Mazotos and driving around to find good restaurants to eat in the evenings. We came across Cafe Aman on Trip Advisor and it turned out to be the best restaurant we have been to in Cyprus so far. We were met with a very friendly welcome from the couple who run it. We decided to go... More

On our way to the airport we decided to have our last taverna lunch. Looking around on the sea road we found this place with not many reviews, and we are so happy we stopped! Sat here a good 2 hours! We called and were told they don't serve lunch but the wife will get us something to eat, and... More

One problem with this place: there is no menu, so you will not know exactly what you will get, and how much it will cost. In our case, we got a lot of food we did not needed, and paid by far more than any other meal we had. Food was nice, although some of the meze dishes (Tahini and... More
