Ranked #7 of 203 restaurants in Larnaka
Cuisines: American, Greek
Dining options: Reservations, Late Night
Description: Little know local restaurant in small village of Anafotia outside Larnaca. Genuine Greek cuisine. No fixed menu and they automatically serve up a Mezze which is out of this world. You would not be able to finish the course but great value and very friendly family run restaurant. Normal dishes include pork, lambs liver, greek style sausages, rabbit, fresh fish, salads, etc etc. Food tastes really lovely and all prdouce is local. The village is small and friendly and restaurant is in middle of town. Average cost for 5 was 100 euros for 10 course meal and 2 bottles of wine. Highly recommended. When we were there most tables were empty but one was taken by 10 staff form the American embassy who travelled from Limassol. This place deserves to be mentioned on various websites although owners say they do not want to be overun with tourists as they prefer to stay a local friendly family restaurant. Worth a visit

This is a characterful eatery, run by a husband and wife duo. He serves, she cooks and it is a marriage made in heaven. The meze goes on and on, so bring a keen appetite. The local red wine is smooth and powerful and they buy all their foods from trusted sources. Really rather a jolly place to go.

Our friend Maryanne who is on one of her visits to Cyprus told us she had found this restaurant on Trip Advisor, I looked it up and having read the previous reviews, my husband and I decided to join her and her husband Martin for a meze. The owners Andreas and Stavroula gave us a warm welcome and we enjoyed... More

We ate here twice on our holiday and it was amazing!! We had a fantastic Meze the first time and amazing kleftico (lamb) on our second visit. The owners were very friendly and welcoming we even left with eggs for breakfast. This was by far the best restaurant we ate in on our holiday.

We can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you want a traditional Cypriot mezze this is the place to go. The food is outstanding and the hosts are really friendly and welcoming. We are so glad we found this little gem at the beginning of our holiday so we can go again.

The Cafe Aman is a real gem. It is a true country restaurant with regional dishes lovingly prepared by wonderfully hospitable hosts. There is no menu, the meze dishes just keep coming. I lost count but I think we had about 12 courses, which excluded two that we had said no to: snails and sheep's head. Michelin used to have... More

The owners Andreas and Stavroula are amazing people. Anyone that stays in the village or stays in Cyprus must pay them a visit. There isn't a menu but don't let that put you off. They just keep on bringing food out until you stay stop. The food is fresh and these guys know how to look after you. Make sure... More
