It was rainy afternoon, we were hungry like wolf, determined to go to am Tiirschen but when arrived they were to stop service. But the lady in charge was very kind to accept us to dine after checking with the kitchen... The soup and the beef were very tasty, service was fast. The interior was a bit dark and very... More

We had noticed this restaurant during our walking tour earlier in the day and wandered back at dinner time. The location is very convenient for anyone staying in the old town. The welcome left a bit to be desired - the service was fine, but nothing to note. The setting and the food made up for it. I had a... More

The setting is rustique, right in the centre of the old town, and it befits Luxemburg. The service was uninspired and so was the food. Good, but lacking in attention for the price paid.

My pal Buzz & I had the pleasure of having lunch here recently and were both very pleased. The food was excellent, prices moderate, beautiful setting in old part of Lux city behind the Palace and best of all the charming owner, Hilary, turned out to be a friend of long date.Although short staffed that day she assured a perfect service... The food was perfectly cooked, great flavours and well presented, not a big menu, so you could not go every night for a week, slightly more expensive than the average restaurant, but such good quality that it was well worth the extra. Difficult to find as inside a building with a number of other restaurants

Beautiful place with exceptional food that has a slight, modern twist on traditional Lux food. Great service, friendly staff. Highly recommend. Not a touristy place at all!! (see earlier review; surely this person was confused.) Chosen by locals as we evidenced. We were the only tourists and place was full. Had beef salad, cordon bleu, knidelene(sp)... Excellent!!!!

Great restaurant with excellent atmosphere, food and service. Short menu that reflects what's fresh and seasonal.

Walked to this restaurant by hotel staff (owner?) and had a fabulously local and fresh meal - might never have found otherwise unless brought here.

restaurant is hard to find, best tip is to look for caves gourmandes and then go do the alley to the right. The food was excellent bit there was a long wait (over an hour) between ordering and getting the starter and then a 45 minute before the main course. Seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists so... On a short trip to Luxemburg, we followed what the guide book explained to be the hidden gem in hte heart of town. Well, the gem was just a lump of coal, never becoming a diamond. The waitress was very unfriendly, cool and spoke down to us. We were the first ones to arrive (restaurant opens at 7PM), but no... More
