We had higher expectations om this place as we he had heard it was exclusive and special. The service was good and the food tasty but not anything special. Quite pricy for the amount of food you get.

Absolutely loved dinner and the sake recommendations.....by far, the best Japanese restaurant in Luxembourg. The owner is welcoming and always ready to help and recommend something special.....

Brilliant Japanese food, which makes you re-discover the taste of some fish you thought you knew.. We took the discovery menu and each serving was a little surprise. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We had high expectations for the restaurant but we were terribly disappointed. Nothing special and very expensive. Never going back.

We visited this place on Friday 31st Jan. The waitress was so rude and disinterested - she was horrible. After waiting for 40 minutes for our drink order to be delivered, we walked out. We had never ever walked out of a restaurant before.

This is the upscale Japanese place to be in Luxembourg. It's located fantastically in the Grund, very near the famous Mosconi restaurant. The quality of the food is just excellent. Moreover, everything, particularly the sushi, looks very fresh. Most dishes are offered in a recommended menu format with starters and side dishes. I visited several times, and every time the... In a beautiful environment, we enjoyed a great dinner. The suggestions from the owner were outstanding. Good, friendly service. Seen the inventiveness of the suggestions, I can only recommend to follow the chef's advice.

This is what I wrote the friend who advised me to go here: "Kamakura was ridiculously good. Pretty expensive too, but absolutely worth every penny!"

This restaurant featured excellent Japanese cuisine. We were glad that we took a taxi - coming from the Kirchberg plateau, it was a steep descent into the narrow valley of - I think - the Alzette river. The Luxembourgian white wines go very well with the subtle Japanese food.

Very attentive service and was fast but not rushing. Tasty food, nicely presented. I especially liked the Wagyu-beef, which was done exactly to my requested specs. Cost: a bit over 100 euro for two, for starter + main dish, without wine. Can highly recommend for a business lunch with locals.
