Quality & Friendly Service

You should reserve for lunch since the place is quite small. The food is excellent for a reasonable price, and the service is very friendly. Day Menu is fast, cheap and enough, Menu dishes are very good. I've been there more than 10 times and never disapointed.

We went there for lunch. Service is great. The place is small, so booking a table in advanced is advised. We all took the days menu, which had a appetizer and a main course. The food quality is great, portions are OK (although we would have like a little more on the plate). All in all, I will go back

I dined at Appayan this past summer (July 2015) during a trip to Luxembourg with my mother. We eat a lot of Indian food, and we were really excited to find this place. We walked quite a distance to get to it, but it was worth it. The food was really tasty, though I will say it was spicier than... More

We have only had the takeaway from here a couple of times and have not been disappointed with the food at all and the menu has nice different things on it. Only small complaint would be the portions are quite small for the price they are charging but I guess you get quality over quantity here which is no bad... More

Appayan was a pleasant surprise, being close to my apartment (they deliver). We started off with a set of pakoras, which were so good that we couldn't help calling for a second set. For the main course, we ordered a dal, a vegetarian curry and a chicken biryani, all of which were very well done. The couple running the restaurant... More

Myself and a work colleague ate here recently - we a mixed starter for both of us followed by chicken jalfrazi and a fish dish (can't remember name) together with plain rice and 2 nan breads. The mixed started consisted of about 8 different types of fried dishes or pakora's all of which were very very tasty - all served... More

The header pretty much sums it up. The lunch offering is a steal, friendly but slow service. Make sure to arrive at noon sharp for lunch and get your order in right away before the kitchen backs up.

we had been here before, and it was always first class; very authentic Indian food, warm family atmosfere, even the customers were nice and friendly. However, this time, the three of us appeared on a Friday night, without booking. The upstairs was full, yet the owner was able to find us a table. Everything looked fine, except that it took... We have tried most of the Indian restaurants in Luxembourg, but this one is really the best - staff is helpful and friendly, food is great and the atmosphere is superb. Always had a table at the first floor though, ground floor might be a bit lonely if its not fully booked.

Food was good. Service was fast which is great for Luxembourg city. The staff was very friendly and the chef on request even made dishes not on the menu. Felt very welcome and food was fresh and not full of colour that some places tend to brush, not too greasy/much either. Reasonable cost too..
