I was traveling solo through Lixembourg and was looking for some good Indian food when I stumbled upon this place. I was met at the door by the owner, shook hands and shown to a table. By the time I ordered, the food was brought out within minutes, and the portions were so much more than I could eat in... More

The food was really good and portions are large. The waitress was great, checking very often to see if we had everything. The restaurant is small, which I liked because it was a very relaxing environment. I would have loved more Indian decoration, but good enough.

I visited on a sunday evening as my fav indian in Lux is closed (Star of Asia) for a take away. I ordered chicken jalfrezi, bombay aloo and rice. The rice was enough for at least 4 people (why)? The jalfrezi was poor, very little flavour, just spiced. The chicken was not of good quality and very little of it,... More

Sometimes you order a lamb curry and the lamb meat is really just the cheapest cut of meat. I have eaten here for many years and the meat is always very good, not tough and inedible. On top of this their cooking really agrees with my palate.

Went there with my girlfriend. The very first clean spoon of spicy beef from Agra destroyed my toungue. The meat was stewed more than usual. The basm. Rice was overcooked without a pinch of salt. Just boiled in clean water. And shaarwoods products are good but, make indian food very "fast-foof" easy-to-do.

Food at the Taj Mahal is great; Indian staple dishes prepared carefully was rather unexpected for an unassuming part of Luxembourg. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the street, and is a small room in which sound can really travel inside, but seems worth the effort. A booming take-away business goes on throughout our dinner. The paratha really stood... More

The Taj Mahal, while nothing impressive on the outside, and rather small on the inside, shines where it really matters: the food and the service are really good. The staff is friendly and helpful, while mastering a variety of languages, including English. The food is well prepared (our party had lamb and chicken in different forms and everyone was rather... We really enjoyed this restaurant. It was very close to our hotel and was busy. The staff are extremely nice. Although the menu is a bit pricey, the portions are huge. Too big even. It was impossible to finish.

I was visiting Luxembourg and wanted to have some Indian food. This place serves good Indian food and is at par with most Indian restaurants in Europe. What differentiates this place is the service and the staff who are very helpful and always available to attend to your needs. If you are from Asia please be careful of how much... More
