We stopped by for beer, and had some delicious black forest cake while we were there. The service was prompt and attentive. The outdoor seating was very nice, and the inside is great as well. We highly recommend the place, atleast for beer and cake on a beautiful fall day.

We arrived on a Saturday morning for a quick walk around of Echternach village. In our memory Echternach is a nice quiet village and it still is. The cafes had just opened their terraces with outside tables; the weather was clement enough to sit outside (with our coats though). We elected Brasserie "Aal Echternach" for a sit down with cappuccino.... More

But very polite service. They give some snacks with hope you to have a dinner in evening. Friendly and good English. The town is cosy and dreaming. Here is no events and fun - only cosy peace. No tourists and Arabs

We called in for a quick and cheap lunch after taking a look at the abbey - chicken wings and a delicious Flammkuchen - not bad for E20! It's a nice little cafe/brasserie in an attractive square. Service was good with menus available in English, and the staff also spoke English.

The music festival was going when we had our lunch at the Aal Eechtemoach. The location of the restaurant made it very nice as one can sit outdoor under the sun eating while listening to the live music from the music festival. The restaurant was rather busy during our Sunday lunch visit because of the festival. The initial wait time... More

I had very great expectations as when we visted the outside area was busy and the location is excellent.we waited 15 minutes before we were brought the menus then waited another 15 minutes for the order to be taken although other "Native" diners were given menus and served before we were.We waited what seemed ages for the food to arrive.I... Called in on Sunday, 8th April 2012. We were looking for a light lunch, but did not have particularly high expectations. The food turned out to be pretty good, the eggs were especially good, the service was excellent and the price was reasonable at 40 euros for three meals plus soft drinks. There is a good choice on the menu,... More
