This is their new restaurant by the water. We had dinner with friends, the location is elegant and romantic right on the waters edge. The fish was excellent, my swordfish was fresh and a generous portion cooked perfectly with a little olive oil. Vegetables; grilled peppers, zucchini, fresh oranges. The tuna carpaccio starter was also very good. Friendly helpful staff... More

Fumia is no longer in Old Bakery, Valletta as it moved to a seaside location about 2km away in Pieta (some diners call the area Xatt It-Tiben, Floriana), but the phone number & email address are still the same so you can ask them for direction: +356 21317053 or info@fumiarestaurant.eu. Food and service are still as superlative as ever, and... More

We had a very large group and ordered the chef's antipasto, what a treat. We had dish after dish of the best fish and seafood plates, done several ways. The whole fish for the main was moist and delicious, then the desserts came to finish this great meal. Service was first class and value for money can't be beat. We... More

Fumia has always been consistent in the food they offer especially fresh fish complemented with an impeccable service. Now the 'Vecchia Dogana' at Pieta where Fumia has move to: adds that captivating atmosphere offering outside dining also, with an enchanting sea view. Parking facilities are now much much better!! Excellent value for money but could afford to cost a bit... More

Fumia has now moved from Valletta to Pieta. It has now more seating including outdoor. We went on a Saturday and it was quite full , which unfortunately reflected on the service. The food was excellent but the one of the side plates [potatoes] came almost when we finished the meal. It has a rather poor selection of sweets which rarely... More

This restaurant was recommended to us and it is turned out to be an excellent choice. We started with the bruschetta for 2 and then followed this with a fish dish.... the brown meagre. We had not had this fish before, so were not quite sure what to expect, but it was cooked to perfection and was delicious. You can... More

Had one of my best moments I'm Malta at this delicious place. You'll be received as you deserve and quickly served. The atmosphere is cosy and the seafood exquisite. I recommend it to any person that would be in Malta, holidays or not ;)

I can highly recommend Fumia as one of the top restaurants in Valletta. This sicilian restaurant in a cellar with arched vaults is specialised in fresh fish. High quality food with the super prawns and grill fish dishes make it a superbe restaurant based under Manoel Theatre. Cheers, Jos - Belgium

Had a dinner in this restaurant with a group of 8. The food in the restaurant was excellent, however the portions were so huge that none of us could finish them all. I had gamberi con limone to start with and those were extremely fresh and delicious and as a main the spagetti al gamberi which was excellent and the... More
