Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, friendly staff who know what they're doing and were on the ball. Everyone seemed to know each other. Every dish we saw come out looked amazing. Tapenade with lovely fresh bread, sun dried tomatoes in olive oil, Parma ham to start. My husband had grilled swordfish with giant prawns and I had veal in a delicious... More

This place is almost always packed and you need to book in advance to find a place. It is open for lunch only and it is not open on Sundays and public holidays. The food is always fresh and it is very good. The staff have a unique local charm in greeting clientele especially if they are regulars. My wife... More

This is a gem of a restaurant, hidden away in one of the side streets off Valletta's Republic Street. It attracts a loyal clientele of locals and is always very busy, so make sure to book in advance. The food is very good, although really it is only half the charm: the real joy comes from observing the theatricality of... More

We were looking forward to have lunch at da pippo's as it is a lonely planet top choice. Moreover, a lot of locals come here for their lunch. We were quite surprised that there is no menu but didn't care too much. Unfortunately, we got to know why when we asked for the bill: € 45.00 for 2 plates of... More

Years ago I went to Da Pipo and I loved it, for one reason or another it took me years to go back and to my surprise, when I opened the door, it still looked the same, again it was packed with people talking and laughing and most of all stuffing themselves. We took pasta vongole and Lampuki ( dolphinfish)... More

If this restaurant was a diamond it would be a 0.25ct D IF. Small, but flawless and the highest quality. Friendly staff, excellent food, impossible to get a table unless you book or know the owners. Do yourself a favour and forget about the menu, speak to the staff about what they suggest or let them make up a few... More

We made a reservation earlier on in the day and got there on time but they could not seat us right away so the owner... More
