Caffe Cordina is an old friend. Every time we come to the Island we visit this place. It is a must do for anyone visiting Malta. The caffe probably has the best location of any in Valletta. Great place to have a coffee, or beer or a simple breakfast or lunch, best place to people watch. I think one of... More

nice cup of coffee/tea with your favorite cake! always stop here when in valletta. very friendly and service minded staff. just a short walk away down hill to marsamxetto where u can take the boat back to sliema instead of a 20 min bus ride ( 5 min boat)

Whenever we find ourselves in Valletta we have to visit this beautiful building and sample one of their delightful cakes. We are never disappointed.

What a wonderful little gem! The food here is exceptional and the value is great! No small portions! It's such a quaint little place with service to match with waiters in bow ties carrying huge serving trays with ease! Great for kids too with a very good kids menu. Would definitely come back! Oh also no service charges and taxes... More

Over a number of years we have visited Valletta several times, in my opinion "Caffe Cordina is the place to go, we prefer inside because this is where the "Buzz" is greatest but sit outside and watch the Maltese world go by if that is what you prefer. The service, cakes or snacks, or a full meal are all of... More

Needed a bit of nourishment between a late breakfast and dinner - what's nicer than being sat under an umbrella in the square with a couple of pastizzi (and a large Cisk)? They're large, well filled and the pastry is lovely and flaky. The real thing, at very reasonable prices. Staff extremely attentive and efficient, with a clientele of both... More

We had read that this was an historic restaurant, even though it was not in the original building. The actual restaurant is set in a really nice old building, whilst there is lots of outside (all shady) seating in the square opposite. We had simple Maltese fare and a couple of beers for lunch. The server was prompt, and helpful,... More

This café has such a wonderful interior that it is a pleasure to sit inside to be well fed. The food was high quality with a good choice of local dishes along with various other choices. The cakes & pastries were exceptional & the service was quick.
