This restaurant was particularly recommended. The dining room is very attractive and beautifully furnished. The staff friendly and efficient. We went on two occasions as the menu had an excellent choice. On both occasions we had three courses, the mains both fish. The first evening was fine but on the second evening, the main courses were far too salty which... More

We arrived at 7pm for dinner with no prior booking. Fortunately, the restaurant managed to provide us with a table for two hours, which was perfectly fine for us. We had a full 3 course meal accompanied by a bottle of wine. The whole dining experience was just lovely, food was delicious, the waiter was courteous and the service was... More

During our two week stay in Malta we went twice to this restaurant and on each occasion ate 3 courses all of which were outstanding. The service was friendly and informative. A wide selection of the freshest fish is a hallmark of this establishment. We will certainly return on our next visit to Valletta.

Really good Maltese food - fresh seafood ( fried calamari entrea was delightful). We focused on the traditional Maltese dishes which were really good. Some nice little tasting extras ( free of charge) was a nice touch. Great ambience and reasonably priced. I think the lamb shank was about 16 euros and it was a big meal. Good spread of... More

This place has real ambience. The place is lovely, the service excellent, however our meal was seriously let down by it being too salty. I had mussels for starters, and yes they were really fresh, but they were the saltiest mussels I have ever had. My wife thought the soup was a bit salty too. The theme continued with the... More

It seems there are no great differentiations in Valletta restaurants, but the Palazzo truly deserved the high ranking! Great service, exquisite dishes of high quality food (both fish and meat) prepared at nearly gourmet level.

Just back from one of the best meals we have enjoyed for quite a while. We chose Palazzo Preca to celebrate our Mum's birthday and we definitely made the best choice. The ambience is beautiful, the staff are very welcoming and professional and the food absolutely divine. There were six of us with ages ranging from 18 to 76 and... More

I have been leaving in Valletta for almost a year and this is the best restaurant I've been in Malta so far. I cannot mention any flaw. Al the dishes were cooked to perfection. I ordered duck cooked in orange sauce (medium-well) nicely cooked, excelent sauce just at the right point of acidity but not overpowering the taste of the... More

Lovely restaurant inside, with high ceilings and candelabra lighting. Food was very good and service was also good. Portions are generous, so found it a challenge to eat both a starter or pasta and then a main course. The fresh fish (sea bass) was a good choice. Also tried and enjoyed the local Maltese wine.
