I was roaming around looking for a good restaurant and casually came across Palazzo Preca. I would sincerely recommend this to anyone looking to dine in Valletta. The ambiance is welcoming and relaxing. The host quickly set the tone as we were introduced to a table were we had dinner. The food was excellent throughout to say the least and... More

This restaurant is a bit hidden away but well worth finding. All the seating is inside and on the lunchtime we visited it was very busy with locals - a good sign. The menu has a very good selection of fish, meat and pasta dishes. We started with anti pasta (free) which was excellent. We then had starters of fresh... More

Two sisters run the Palazzo Preca. They have gained their experience in Sicily and it certainly shows. This the finest food I had in Malta (Scoglitti being a close second). It was seafood all the way for me but I have to say the meat dishes looked wonderful too. Pick your fresh fish, anyway you like it. sea bass carpaccio,... More

Despite the fact that it's a restaurant with it's own charm and character, the food - well that's just sublime. Excellent, refined and well presented. As a starter we had an assortment of traditional Maltese appetizers - each plate tasting better than the other. Then the main course - a special of the day - Homemade Ċerna (Grouper) filled ravioli... More

I visited Palazzo Preca with friends for lunch on Saturday before Easter, this restaurant is in the heart of Valletta and oozes with character, it was obviously an old mansion used by the aristocracy in years gone by, there is a main dining room and separate private rooms. The menu was varied but most of us opted for fish, I... More

Such a great little place. The food was the best we've had on our holiday, and we've had some good food! Big portions at a fantastic price. Our waitress/manager took time to talk and care for us which made it even more special. We were so lucky to get a table as it was fully booked up and they turned... More

We had a late Sunday lunch here on the day of our arrival in Valletta, and there was a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere in the place. We were so impressed by both food and service that we made a point of having our final meal here also. My wife particularly enjoyed the raw prawns as a starter on both occasions.

We have visited here before and thought we would try it again. Was it as good? Most definitely 'YES'. The ambience is first class, the staff most welcoming and the food EXCELLENT. We look forward to our next visit.
