Great Service

Our waiter was very nice and helpful. Can't remember his name but he comes from Poland. Loved the complimentary bruschetta. We ordered sea bass (not very flavourful) and rack of lamb which was enjoyed very much and stuffed calamari which was also superb. We will go back tonight but will stay away... read more

A small but beautifully appointed restaurant with arched ceiling and walls adorned by local art. Daily menu offering the days selected dishes - good choice of fish and meat dishes at very reasonable prices. The food as absolutely excellent and the service was first class. Good value wine list. High quality at very reasonable prices.

Went there cos a friend told me it was the place to go in Valletta for a good dinner, gastronomic in a cosy ambianced place. It is semi casual/relax. The interior and exterior features are surprising on the first sight. It is a cave, underneath San Gorg square. The service is amazing, we were received by the owner, a very... More

Salvino's is a pleasant, unpretentious little restaurant. It has a cave-like atmosphere but is nonetheless quite comfortable. The food is fresh and tasty Mediterranean, perhaps more Italian than Maltese, but with a local flavor. Portions are good, service very good, and staff willing to alter dishes to accommodate a food allergy. The menu is very small and changes by the... More

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the restaurant's willingness to cook a meal, which wasn't on the menu, for our eight year old - this place was our favourite during a week in Valletta.

First customers in on a Friday evening and didn't seem to have many bookings so was a little unsure as to what to expect. However, the service was impeccable. The menu is quite limited, but if you review the blackboard outside first to ensure there is something to tempt you, you won't be disappointed. We shared a starter, which was... More

We've just returned from an incredible dinner at Salvino's Restaurant in Valletta, Malta. The service was professional and pleasant; the food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I had the grilled chicken breast; my companion enjoyed the sea bass. All the other menu options looked equally appetizing. They have an admirable wine list, and best of all, the prices are... More

It is a nice cosy little place, The food is good, the staff was very cordial. Not a wide choice menu to choose from. On a positive note, on the other hand that secures the food presented is fresh. For main we had veal and fresh salmon which was good and tasty. The wine was on the high side for... More

Stumbled on this place one evening and thought we would give it a go. Thought the limited menu on the blackboard would mean well cooked local food but never found out. After ordering I realised what an excellent view I had of the kitchen from where I sat. A young chef in whites worked on a stove at the back... More
