Had heard about Salvino's from friends and decided to book. Not busy for a Friday night. Was nice that the chef came out and explained the fresh meat on offer. Food good but limited choice of wines.

Today we had a really lovely lunch at Salvino's in Valletta, (which is under new management) the food was great and the staff are seriously polite. They have one amazing chef. The only "hiccup" was that they forgot to bring over some roasted potatoes, which really wasn't an issue at all because the meat was huge and the roasted veg... More

We ate here this evening based on old reviews in the Lonely Planet guidebook, before being taken over by new management. We're so glad we went. The personal service from the manager and chef was excellent. The Maltese rabbit and garlic dish was superb and homemade desert was exceptional.

This chic little restaurant is recently under new management and I can only think that the not so satisfied reviews must belong to the previous management. The chef Antonella creates wickedly sensational multilayered flavour combinations that left us oohing and ahhing. At our first lunch we tried the tasty risotto and succulent salmon. We came back another day for dinner... More

One of the best places i've been. Great food, amazing service. Place is small with only a few tables and you get a really personal service with the chef.

The restaurant is set in an old stone building opposite the Police Station and on the same road as 'The Pub' frequented by the late Oliver Reid. The staff were very friendly, although I was surprised when given the menu which was limited & displayed on an A4 sized piece of paper in a plastic wallet, but don't be put... More

Following the reopening of this great gem hidden in Valletta. The best pasta lobster. Followed by a great piece of rib-eye cooked to perfection.

Salvino's, having just reopened under new management, is one the best restaurants we ate at in Valletta. The menu is small ( a good thing), but well balanced, and with daily changes in accordance with what is on offer at the market on the day. The food itself is robust, (in taste not style) with an emphasis on big, bold... More
