Another stunning meal at Guze

Prior to visiting Valletta again we booked Guze online well in advance and it's a good job we did as getting a table on spec is not easy, it's easy to see and taste why Guze is so popular. Great location and surroundings, the staff are 1st class and the food is amazingly good. Four of us dined here... read more

Guze's is a fine restaurant, fresh, daily specials and terrific local wines. A very friendly and professional staff adds to the special character of this small, historic establishment. Once discoved, I returned again and again. Arrive early or make reservations as Guze's fills up quickly.

Me & my husband visited twice in our stay of 5days. 1st evening celebrating our 20. Wedding anniversary. We both loved our starters(Spaghetti Mussels&Prawns and Spaghetti With black Mussels) and our main courses; Chicken breast and "Fish of today"(Seabass?) Very big portions on both starters and main courses! We could not have dessert. But we were so pleased with the... More

And this is saying something because we found restaurants in Valletta to be excellent. For starters we had goats cheese mousse and pumpkin soup, for mains we had the lamb shank and the veal and for dessert we had walnut cheesecake and chocolate fondant. We were served delicious homemade bread and an amuse bouche to start and from start to... More

Malta has not been known for the quality of its restaurants , but Valetta must celebrate Guze . Tucked away on a corner site it does not look promising , but the food , the service and the welcome are all first class. We ate there twice last week on our first and our last nights in Valetta . A... More

Guze is a small restaurant in the centre of Valletta in a historic setting. The service is perfect and the staff are warm and friendly. The food is superb and very fresh. Be sure to book in advance, because the place is always full (with locals and tourists). We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it strongely when visiting... More

This was best restaurant we found in Malta, by far. Antipaso we shared was wonderful, by pasta was best I have had in a long time (wild boar), husband was happy with the steak he had. Service was excellent and place is really cute.

This is my third visit to Guze in about 3 years and I am pleased that they have still managed to maintain high standards in their food. The service is helpful and attentive without being overly formal. It is set in a cosy basement. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Although there are other places in Valletta... More
