The service was excellent, cocktails and wine selection nicely experienced in a cozy, candlelit setting. The Caprese salad was extraordinarily fresh and deliciously drizzled with EVOO. Nice balsamic vinegar to complement was provided. The mushroom, chicken, truffle flavored risotto was marvelous, cheesy and satisfying for a dinner enter.

This was a most interesting wine bar restaurant and the play on words for the food was very good.... the food itself being 'really' worth an extra line or two.... The duck breast main was a favourite and the tiramsu sweet.... Oh yes.... (Harry meet Sally moment).... Only one more thing to mention.... the ambiance works better eating latter.... 2030... More

The restaurant is situated in Old Bakery Street within 2 minutes from the Grand Master's Palace. It's very charming with a vaulted ceiling ground floor room and a room with an adjoining balcony on the 1st floor. Both the host and chef/ owner were nice and friendly. Food was very tasty especially the Fondant au Chocolat - divine!

We booked a table for 8 on a Sunday evening and were happy to find out that we had the place for ourselves. Good selection of Maltese wines. Very friendly owner and a great cook. He managed to cook dinner for all of us and serve us at the same time single-handedly. My black ink risotto was really good. The... More

We went to Omerta on a Sunday night. We were excited to go as we had read good reviews and they catered for our dietary requirements (coeliac and vegetarian/gluten-intolerant). We had originally tried to book for the Saturday night but were not contacted until Sunday afternoon. When they rang we changed the time of our reservation from 8.30pm to 7.30pm... More

It was the only free table we could find on Old Bakery St. on a Saturday evening without a reservation (and just because someone else cancelled!) but this says more about the dinning culture in Valletta then about this restaurant. The entrées were quite promising (mushroom soup and fried goat cheese) but only to be followed by main courses which... More

Starters were lovely, main course within acceptable limits however wine list is too pricey in my opinion and there was only one waiter to serve the whole place .... And he was fantastic ....Main course ...the rabbit was not up to standard however this place is really cosy and romantic....

We (wife and myself) chose the title as it adequately summarises our feeling as we left this restaurant after having lunch. The owners of this restaurant managed to get the difficult things right and the easiest things wrong. We are referring to food in the first instance and service in the second. Food was delicious and portions adequate. However my... More

The fist time I had dinner at this restaurant, I was super delighted since the food was divine! Though, on my second visit we ordered platters and we were super disappointed! The portions are extremely small and the price is still high! It was a real shame.. Definitely don't recommend anyone to order platters at this place... On the other... More
