Food is so delicious at this sweet resto in the heart of Valletta; food illustrated the passion of the chef due to its very attractive presentation & excellent taste! Both the service & atmosphere at Capistrano resto were extremely enjoyable!

My wife and I returned to Capistrano after having a wonderful meal 2 days earlier. We were so impressed with the quality and presentation of the food that set it apart from the rest of the 5 dining experiences we had in Valletta that it was a very easy choice to make. Conrad our host promised that we would have... More

We knew when the entree special of the day arrived at our table that this was a special restaurant. Scallop & prawn ravioli with a saffron sauce, with each piece of ravioli bedded on spinach and finished with a small amount of caviar. They were divine! The main courses was beautifully presented. I had sea bass fillets stuffed with fresh... More

Visited this restaurant based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. Food was flawless and the service was excellent. I had the pork belly which was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The combination of flavours was delicious. Boyf had the swordfish which he said was the best meal he's ever had. We shared the white chocolate brownie which was the perfect... More

This place was located kind of of the tourist path, just one street of the maint route. We just finished the visit of War Museum and wondered around for local good food. We were very happy with the food as well as the service. When we went in the restaurant was not busy (we were the only customers there). We... More

Visited this restaurant last May based on reviews seen on this site. The food is excellent. We opted for a number of starters (a wild mushroom risotto and a pumpkin soup) and main course (veal escalopes and rabbit loin stuffed with Maltese sausage). All the food was good, but the portions gave us a pause. The starters, particularly the risotto,... More

We happened in here while on holidays in Valletta and were a bit worried when the place was empty! The waiter talked us though the specials and was friendly and attentive. I had the Meagre which was well cooked and the accompaniments suited the fish perfectly. My husband had the pork which he declared as 'absolutely lovely' which is glowing... More

Already when entering the room, the friendly reception made us feel well. We wanted seafood, but could not agree about what to choose. The waiter then replied "Just a second, I will ask the chef." The chef then told us he could make us a special platter (tuna, sea bass, shrimps, calamari and mussels). This was an offer we could... More

I ordered for lunch the house specialities lobster basque and venison for main course, which were very well prepared. Both dishes were flavorful and prepared just right. Actually the menus have many other other dishes that sound worth trying on repeat visits. Service was attentive and quick too. Good value for money as a place to dine.

Had 3 meals here during our week in Valletta. Consistently good and well presented food from a menu providing enough choice, but small enough to reassure you that everything is freshly prepared! A couple of daily specials as well. Service was friendly, efficient and nicely paced. For confirmed red meat eaters perhaps surprisingly our highlights were excellent fresh red snapper... More
