after reading the raving reviews. I went there having dined at the Guze Bistro 2 nights before and I must say there is no comparison, both in therms of service and cuisine. Too bad

The menu is innovative, interesting, and masterfully executed, the service is friendly and efficient, the food and wine are reasonably priced and it's in Valletta. Food is head and shoulders above many other restaurants in Valletta, including ones I really like. I can't count the times I just walked past this place, which means I have innumerable regrets. Definitely one... More

Food better than higher rated Palazzo Preca, though that was good too. I had venison which was beautifully tender & the Merlot/Cabinet Sauvignon was superb.

Like many of the better restaurants in Valletta, this one is tucked away in a fairly quiet area. The interior is well presented with a calm atmosphere and the friendly unassuming service, which all helps with the ambience. However, none of the above would work for me without first class food and we just could not fault it. Check out... More

What a fantastic restaurant! The food was so elegantly presented and the attention to detail immaculate. I had the rabbit done three ways and it was the best meal I had eaten all holiday. 3 courses for 2 people, with wine, water, coffee & liqueurs for under €80. It's only a small restaurant, so well worth booking in advance, especially... More

A few steps away from the main tourist strip is the warn and welcoming Capistrano. The food is excellent with a good selection of Maltese specialities. We were particularly impressed with the higjly personal service. We recommend Capistrano highly, and would definitely dine there again.

My wife and I returned to Capistrano after having a wonderful meal 2 days earlier. We were so impressed with the quality and presentation of the food that set it apart from the rest of the 5 dining experiences we had in Valletta that it was a very easy choice to make. Conrad our host promised that we would have... More

We knew when the entree special of the day arrived at our table that this was a special restaurant. Scallop & prawn ravioli with a saffron sauce, with each piece of ravioli bedded on spinach and finished with a small amount of caviar. They were divine! The main courses was beautifully presented. I had sea bass fillets stuffed with fresh... More
