Just came for a drink.

Cannot comment on the food as we only came here for a drink late one evening. Extensive wine list and we chose a bottle of local red wine which was very good and excellent value. Food looked interesting. Nice place inside and service seemed very good.

Our Hotel not only recommended this restaurant, but took the trouble to phone ahead for a table. However, on arrival they said they were fully booked. We asked if we may have a drink and wait, but there is no bar or area to take a drink. After walking around for an hour in the rain trying to find somewhere... More

Great idea if you are a tourist visiting the Island. The food is good and if you're a foreigner you get to taste some of the best Maltese dishes. [Bigilla should be also introduced] The service is nice and enjoyable.

We have eaten here about 4 times in the last 8 years whilst on holidays . It never ever fails to disappoint, the set menu is a triumph, the food just keeps coming with each little course being tasty, interesting, different, aromatic, it comes with as much or little description as you like. Great wine selection, AMAZING chocolates and a... More

for 24 euros each, you get a succession of Maltese tastes, in a small and welcoming establishment. We lost count of the courses we had (each served with an informative description), but we noticed that nearby diners called it a day after just a few courses, so I dont know if they felt they had had value for money: we... We had the night of our lives in Valletta and this little ditty was the icing on the cake. They had an awesome way of doing it, we just let them bring out whatever food they thought would go with our wine and they did all the work. Everything was great, and I got the impression if I let them... More

On sometime quiet corner of Old Bakery Street, Legligun represents an opportunity to enjoy tasting a great cross section of Maltese cuisine and an opportunity to enjoy company. The food is interesting and the wine selection engaging - their local wines are privately procured and are quite enjoyable. This is a fun place for a group of 4 or more;... More

I stumble across this restaurant randomly, on the night my friends and I just had a bottle of wine because we were not hungry. The owner welcomed us and treated us as if we were going to eat the full menu. Whilst we were there the owner explained to us the concept of the restaurant, the concept is something which... More

The food and service of this restaurant is incredible. As an expatriate living in Malta, this has to be the best introduction to Maltese Cuisine. The service is efficient, and well paced through the evening - engaging and informative. Wine selection was well presented, and appropriately suited for the meal. It had taken us some time to get a reservation... More
