Good value degustation menu

Firstly its degustation menu. For our U.S. friends it means no ordering off the menu and if you have any special dietary needs you should advise when booking. Found it by chance when wandering about in the side streets of Valetta. Sitting in a sort of cellar, access through a very small door and you almost have to climb down into a cave-like restaurant. About 10 tables, candlelight, shabby-chic style. Very cosy and romantic. There is only one menu, which consists of very small dishes and ALL of... More

Visited on Sunday and well recommended. As others have said great taster menu (yes nine courses). Decor and ambiance are also nice and the guy on the guitar was excellent.

Amazing Maltese food and nice staff. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Valletta. It's cosy, laid back but still offers superb food and really friendly staff. Be prepared for a lot of food!

23 euros for a set taster menu. No control over what you get, they just keep bringing out delicious samples of world foods. From wild mushroom soup to quail, rabbit, salads, it just keeps coming until you have to insist they stop. Excellent service and friendly.

This review is going to be a little repetitive of others as they are so right! We use trip advisor a lot when exploring a new city and this restaurant seemed to fit the bill from the positive reviews and had also been recommended by a work colleague who used to live here. It was also our first 'go' at... More

Cosy, friendly, warming and that is just the atmosphere created by the owners, staff and live music. As for the food, the tasting menu is a melody of Maltese flavours that made my taste buds moan with delight and made my stomach full. Mushroom soup, olives, sundried tomatoes, peppers, creamy lemon pasta (delicious), sea bream, meat balls, zucchini infused meat... More

I almost passed this bistro, but peeked in one of the windows and one of the staff came out to say what they did and that they always had room for one more.... so intrigued, in I went for a closer look.... First they asked if I had any food allergies or dislikes (fat sprouts 'Euk') then I picked a... More

You pay one price and are served what they called a tasting menu, we were expecting small amounts of food, however we were served course after course of good sized tasters and the food kept coming, both full to bursting at the end. There was so much on offer including, soup, bread and many dips, muscles, sea bream, prawns, rabbit,chicken,... More
