If you are looking for a good lunch, Ambrosia can be a choice that will not disappoint you. Had to opportunity to experience their good food but would like to see a better selection for vegetarians.

A very pleasant restaurant and reasonable prices. Quaint decor. Food was excellent, I can recommend the lamb shank which was excellent while my wife says the chicken with red fruits was one of the best meals she has ever had. I can recommend the local merlot, very drinkable if somewhat lacking in body. Even the service was good although it... More

We chose this restaurant having walked past it in Archbishop Street (a very useful street with some great looking restaurants) and read the reviews. It wasn't too busy the evening we were there, but we were well looked after, it was a very good looking place with interesting furniture and effects. the menu seemed a little restricted, it was written... Dining here twice during our stay in Valetta, the first time we had rabbit, which we really liked, the second time we ordered veal, which was less enjoyable. Nevertheless I would recommend this Lonely Planet recommended restaurant - but you do need to book in advance. Many of the best restaurants in Valetta are small & it is therefore difficult... More

The menu is on a blackboard, can be a little hard to see/read. Cheese souffle starter, large enough to share was nice. My wife had two large fillets of sea bass, a generous portion which she enjoyed, initially I ordered the braised rabbitt which wasn`t to my taste and they kindly changed it for the pigs cheeks which were very... Informal little restaurant serving quite superior local dishes. Friendly, helpful service. Good local wines. It was our first dinner in Valetta and we enjoyed the feel of the place from the moment we walked in.

everything's just great here. Reasonably priced, worth every cent. Book to avoid disappointment. Unusual but great interior decor. Super service, very friendly and attentive. I've tried the pigs cheeks and they are the best. Period. Veal was incredible And the steaks are great. Love this place enough to be a regular

Passing by at lunch time we decided to give it a try. Air conditioning was attractive. What a pleasant surprise. There were only a couple of tables taken, but by the time we ordered every table was full. We shared the pasta and it was delicious and just the right amount of food. Friendly service, interesting decor and ambiance.

We sat outside and enjoyed a really good meal of stuffed quail a da cheese soufflé. The wine was Astarte Vermentino and delicious on a warm night. The service was attentive and informative. A most enjoyable experience
