Delicious Ravioli, excellent service

A small and cosy restaurant. Nothing fancy, but an ideal location to dine in a homey and rustic restaurant. I had lunch in this restaurant twice and always went for what i've been recommended to have - Their fresh homemade ravioli. Simply delicious and the fact that you can order a Trio plate makes... read more

We enjoyed our last dinner in Valletta, at Crianza Restaurant. The complimentary bread was very fresh, served with a nice homemade spread. My husband ordered the pasta with rabbit, (delicious), and I had the duet of raviolis... half filled with salmon and the other half filled with rabbit. Very tasty. Our young lady waiter, took real pride in her work... More

My husband and I went here for lunch on a very warm November day. We only wanted salads and were encouraged by the variety on the menu. Before our salads arrived, we were given complimentary bigilla which is a broad bean pate. This came with wonderful home-made bread. We have sampled bigilla several times but this was by far the... Swordfish ravioli certainly is one of my best choices at any restaurants, but the ones they have at Crianza are very special! They are always fresh, perfectly cooked and very tasty! And the dressing is just perfect, olive oil and plenty of lemon, which obviously goes really well with the fish. We also had a very nice salad, with grilled... More

Crianza Restaurant This is an good choice for a casual, informal lunch or dinner. Very good staff who all seem young and so very keen to please. Tables are plainly laid as is the décor the atmosphere is derived as a consequence of the clientele and full house. The food is excellent and Mediterranean, The word 'Crianza' is, I believe,... Nothing to say against this restaurant and everything to say in favour of it. At first glance the menu looks like your standard Italian menu but a closer look reveals a Maltese influence of every dish on the menu. We found the staff are friendly and helpful, eager to explain the dishes and always cheerful. A number of the dishes... More

This was my third visit to Crianza in 2014 and I decided to review on Tripadvisor belatedly. One thing is for sure -- Crianza never disappoints, especially when it came to a last-minute booking after 10pm. The menu appeals to all ages and is varied. The pizzas as well as the bis and tris dishes of pasta were excellent. 2014... More

We had a chance to stop at Crianza for a quick dinner. It was our last dinner in Valletta before heading to Gozo and wanted something reasonably quick and simple before we had to go and pack up. The pizza (olives, artichokes, ham, egg) and salad (mixed greens, pears, walnuts, tomatoes and melty blue cheese) were both very good (great... More

Found this by chance while looking for another restaurant. The menu offered several options that stood out from the standard Italian staples found in many other restaurants in the area. I went for gnocchi with amaretto and artichokes, while my girlfriend had a walnut and Gorgonzola salad. Simple and tasty with fresh ingredients. We shared a delicious homemade sweet ricotta... More
