Wonderful restaurant with an added bonus of the museum! Particularly good was the ravioli and steak! Seafood soup was average but overall was a very enjoyable meal!

Finding this restaurant was a bit of a magical mystery tour. We saw the outside patio from the bridge across the ramparts that leads to the centre of Valetta and eventually, managed to find our way in. We were not disappointed. What we discovered was a magical mystery tour for both our eyes and taste buds. Within its unique and... More

I saw a travel article recommending Rampila and booked it over email for our first night in Malta. Great evening in every way, from the food to the service. I noted that its location is a bit unusual but it's actually not hard to find - it's immediately to the left of the city gate as you enter Valletta, just... More

Found this restaurant by accident - saw the outside patio from the bridge across the ramparts and traced it down. Glad we did. We sat outside even though we were the only ones, just for the view, but inside looked very atmospheric as well. Food was great - good choice and some nice local options. Service was lovely - discreet... More

With an interesting yet comfortable setting this is a great venue for a dinner. It is expensive but the food really was excellent and the service was flawless. If you're looking for somewhere a little special this is a good one. As well as the tunnel/cave type room they also have a terrace for dining al fresco in warmer weather.

I was happy at the speed of the service with out any questions asked when amendments needed to be made. The staff are very friendly and professional. The location is easy to get to in Valletta and it has a unique Cave like historical room with by gone era figures to view like the ones found in Imdina. The food is... More

It was our first visit to the Rampila Restaurant and it won't be our last. Having pre-booked the table we found it ready and nicely set-up. What looked like a former tunnel in the bastions has been turned into a very unique dining experience with an interesting surrounding. The food is "religiously" prepared and the caring staff is always around... More
