A perfect night to end another lovely day in Malta, a very warm and friendly greeting, attentive staff and great food. We went for the Maltese set menu which gave about 4 choices for each course including a traditional vegetable soup and Malteese cheese salad, and bragioli, braised beef and chicken cacciatore.Desserts included Lemon sorbet or a liqueur, everything we tried was... We arrived at about 8pm local time to be greeted by very friendly staff, especially the gentleman on the door. We were shown to a table straight away, the service was speedy and excellent. Now onto the food, we had a variety of nibbles to start then the main course which we all had a fillet of steak which melted... More

Went here with a friend after a suggestion from our hotel's manager. The Maltese bruschetta was to die for and the ravioli was great along with the wine! Definitely recommend.

Thanks for your review. What amazes me is very small percentage of those like you enjoyed their visit write on Trip advisor but on the good side you see them comming back year after year. Thats why they call us family restaurant. As we are a typical but small Restaurant we advertise only on Air Malta magazine. Thus we are always... More

We decided to try the restaurant after a suggestion from a friend: the place is nice and the outdoor seating is charming, if not for the fact that it's positioned right on the strand, so it gets noisy and it's really not that nice if the strand is jammed with traffic, which was when we went there. As we usually... More

Definately worth visiting - it is not only the fact that it serves both traditional maltese and continental food, the food is of the highest quality, very decent portions and not expensive when compared to similar restaurants of similar quality.

Discovered this little diamond walking along the seafront. Now I don't generally get over excited about places unless they exceed expectations . The resteraunt is small and has a small terrace front of house so if you want to sit outside in a large group you will unfortunately be disappointed but please do not pass up the opportunity to enjoy... Typical Maltese restaurant on the Strand of Sliema. We were three people, and we went here to try some tipical maltese food after a recommendation of a friend. We took typical Maltese ravioli, seared tuna, octopus, escargot and bragjoli. The ravioli were not bad .. maybe a little 'more seasoning would have helped. Good tuna. The octopus was too salty,... How wonderful to see guests like you who come for a holiday with a smile & appreciate the difficult job a waiter/waitress face some time (very few as big majority are lovely guests )face. As I say you can never please every one especially a guest we had to day 21/6/14 that complained to me that the waitress did not... More

Our friend Graham Walker, had recommended this small, local restaurant and I was delighted he did. From the moment we walked into the restaurant to the moment we left, the service and hospitality was superb. Food was well presented and was delicious. It really was testament to local produce and a keen chef delivering fantastic dishes. Give it a try.... More
