Decent meal but nothing too special

Nice restaurant on seafront with good set menu (as well as a la carte) at reasonable prices. Free local bean dip as pre-appetiser. However there are better around in Sleim.

My wife and I went on the 2nd of august. I have read the comments that some people have put on. We have been here a few times I have friends that have been a few times. This is a brilliant restaurant and wonderful food. I have never been disappointed with the service or the food.

It's the kind of place that offer an eclectic menu with some local dishes. I think they change the table cloth once a week - we saw them turn over the same dirty thing over and over. The fish soup was one of the best we had on the island.

Cozy old style restaurant, kindly staff, classic foods, good maltese wine list. Good rabbits plates. I offer the snails.

Visited this gem only once while here and that was a big mistake. Ta' Kolina is one of the oldest and most authentic restaurants in Malta. They will start you off with some gratuitous bread and bean dip, but only a little so you don't fill up. Ordered a bottle of Rose made specially for Ta'Kolina and enjoyed it very... More

This place has a charm about it that draws you inside and then the interior design is well done with Stone blocks and wood. The wait staff is super accommodating even with a toddler constantly throwing bread on the floor. The Menu set up is very different then I was used to you. They have "Set" Menu's which at first... This restuarant we visited and a felt i had walked back into the 1970's!! Although the staff were mainly very friendly the menu, food and service were like something from a by-gone age. The food itself was pretty disgusting in the way it was presented and the taste was no better...like a cheap pub meal from yesteryear!!...they could improve with more... More

Went here last night after strong recommendation! Service was good, waiting staff very polite, and the manager/owner was very pleasant especially with my Irish boyfriend (apparently he has been to Ireland and loved it)! Our only complaint is that two from our party ordered steaks m/w and they were more like medium! Nevertheless they were delicious! I would definitely recommend... More

We ate here on one occasion. My girlfriend loved her food which was risotto dish mine was the catch of the day which was okay although had better. We sat outside which is great for watching the world go by although it is on a main road with limited outside capacity. The main downside was the door to the outside... More

This was overpriced for the quality of food you get & the very poor service. Based in Sliema by prom when walking towards Spinola Bay & St Julian's. If you are with a woman & greeted by the man / owner, he cracks a poor & offensive joke about your partner not a very good cook & hence why you... More

Sorry To disappoint you! I remember you coming in without reservations & in a bad mood. We were fully booked ,So jokingly I asked if your lady is a good cook & you seem did not take the joke as many do! I still gave you a table perhaps I can get a smile & make you happy . I... More
